Spice Indian Cuisine in Carrigaline

Ordered the set menu for two yesterday evening. Was told 20mins. Arrived at the restaurant with a warm welcome. Make you feel so welcome. Have being coming here for years. Food was spectacular as always ❤️

Worth a visit. Food is lovely and good service. Plenty of space between tables. Your not on top of each other.

This used to be my favourite Indian restaurant, but it’s not up to scratch anymore. One staff member seemed to appreciate my custom, but the other was less interested. The door to the kitchen was propped open with a chair and the resulting din could easily have been a row, so loud were the voices. It didn’t seem to occur to the staff that customers might like to enjoy their meal in peaceful surroundings, especially at the prices they charge: 1 king prawn jalfrezi (4 prawns of which 1 was mushy) 1 boiled rice 1 chilli & coriander naan (too thick and dry - it lacked that just made quality completely) 1 33cl Cobra beer. €34.20 Why do Indian restaurants charge extra for rice AND for naan. Surely one should be included, like in Chinese establishments. I’m taking a break from Spice.
