Spitalfields in Dublin

Everything at Spitalfields was absolutely delicious and the service made the experience even more memorable. Feidhlim was a fantastic server and bartender. He was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. He remembered my name and used it every time he approached me which was such a lovely, personal touch. Wonderful food, excellent service and an all-around fantastic evening. I would absolutely return!

Sadly this was a 50/50 experience. This was one of the reservations that we saved as one of our special dinners to celebrate our Anniversary while on holiday to Dublin. The food and drinks were incredible and food wise we were very pleased. Unfortunately the service was extremely lacking and the communication during service was just terrible. When we sat down I asked our server about white wine reccomendations to possibly pair with the Iberico schnitzel and was told "I can't reccomend any of the white wines because none of them are good", which was odd to us and another wine suggestion wasn't even offered and we felt rushed to order something else quickly. When we asked about how large the toast was for the bone marrow we were also told by our server that "it wasn't good value" because the toast wasn't large. Our server was almost annoyed that we were a table of two diners compared to the slighly bigger groups around us. It was an odd start to our dinner but we looked past it so we could just enjoy ourselves. After our food came we never saw our server again even though we were in the middle of the dining room. We were going to end our night at the restaurant and planned to order more cocktails and dessert but we couldn't even get a refill on our water or order another drink.We sat there long enough to research a cocktail bar to end our night at, which we inevitably did to kind of salvage the night. We aren't picky people and don't enjoy leaving poor reviews but the service experience was just so off and lacking.

Visited with my two daughters. The older one had visited a few weeks back and insisted on returning. The food was divine. Totally lived up to expectation. Scallops, truffle toast, maitake mushroom for starters. Sea trout, cock- a-leaky pie, savoy cabbage and ricotta lasagne for mains. Cheesecake and Baileys coffees for desert. It was a delicious feast. A very big thank you to Declan and the staff for looking after us. Great chef! Will definitely return.

An absolutely amazing experience at Spitalfields once again! Been here over and over and it’s never fails to be brilliant. Food is immaculate, service is perfect and the atmosphere of the restaurant is both cozy while still having a feeling of fine dining. My only complaint is more people don’t go!

Spitalfields was easily one of the highlights of our time in Dublin. The service was unreal — attentive, warm, and genuinely some of the best we experienced — and the food was outstanding. The chicken pot pie and stuffed Parker House roll were both incredible and absolute must-orders. What makes this place so special is that it has the cozy, unassuming feel of a typical Irish pub, but it’s immediately clear that both the staff and the kitchen really care about the food, hospitality, and overall experience. It’s a rare gem in Dublin and exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble upon while traveling. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Such a good Irish dining experience. Excellent service and great food!

We sat at the bar and watched the cooks at work, drank plenty of Guinness, and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. The food was amazingly good, and the service was friendly and fun.

We had a delicious dinner of pork chop and Iberico schnitzel. Some unique flavors. The waiter suggested a side of the grilled cabbage, which was outstanding. The owner came over for a chat. It was a cosy atmosphere, but a tad noisy.

We liked this place so much we dined here twice on our trip to Dublin. The scallops are excellent, the instagrammable pie is both visually stunning and exceedingly good, and the rest of their menu is full of wonderful and thoughtful dishes. The service was impeccable, as were both the cocktails and other drink options including a very nice non-alcoholic beer. Highly recommend!

Lovely dinner. Incredible little place. Gravy and attention to detail is a wonder.
