A very nice local pub with good Guinness, friendly and helpful staff and chatty locals. There is also live music over the weekends, till around midnight, around then the bar closes the doors to new customers but you can still sit in and finish your pint.

Good local bar with sport on television, live music on the weekends. If you want to stay rooms are comfortable and spacious but not for early sleepers. No food just snacks like crisps and nuts :(

10/07/2026: Love the coffee and food. Always friendly atmosphere

03/07/2026: Traveling from Dublin to Cork, we stopped into this lovely shop for coffee. I had my first scone with clotted cream and jam. Loved it! Fresh baked goods and great coffee. The owner even came out spoke to us for a bit. Awesome first stop in this lovely country.
