Springfield Hotel in

I have been going to the Springfield for years and Caroline Hannon has always looked after me so well. Very good attentive service and always with a warm greeting and a smile. Some of the other staff would not be of the same quality in my experience.

We arrived mid saturday afternoon for a Stayover and dying for a bit of food. We came in at the end of the carvery. No staff serving. Little options available and Menu in general did not appeal. Staff member picked up Roast potato with her hand and offered it to my wife as part of Joint meal available. I chose Lasagna which was quite tasty. The room was impeccable, comfy big bed. Spacious room .Perfect. Went to bar and service fierce slow. No Residents bar and barman dying to get away. Breakfast was a joke. Nobody interested in taking room number or offering Tea/Coffee.Again very little food in trays . This was an hour or so before it finished. Wont be going back anytime soon. Sorry Guys

The roast dinner is lovely nice portion sizes aswell

Myself and my family 23 of us came for dinner on December 21st, we got a private room, which was perfect for us as it was out first Christmas without our dad. When we arrived we were able to settle in have a little chat, then the staff came in taking our drink orders, the youngsters had there own menu, there was a nice variety of food to choose from for the adults, we wanted for nothing, they had some soft music playing in the background. They didn't rush us out when we finished, which was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had lunch here good few times and selection of meat, sides and desserts is great. Quality and freshness of food is on point.

Fantastic value for money. Well aware of Carbon footprint here. Fred from Maintenance was very helpful and lovely man to chat with!!

Lovely lunch menu and food was excellent but why is main meal always cool by the time you sit down needs a better warmer. Nice atmosphere and staff friendly.

Rooms are modern, well appointed and clean. The buffet breakfast was nice. Ample sized carpark. There is a nice breakout area with games and comfy sofas that only residents can access. It's a nice option if you want to get out of your room but don't want to hang around the foyer area .
