Spruce Goose has always been my favorite place in Wellington. Knowing it will close on the 8th of February fills me with a deep sadness. It carries so many beautiful memories with friends and family. I will truly miss sitting there, sharing moments, and drinking coffee. Big thanks to the staff I will Miss you all

Was a bit disappointed. Heard it was closing so we thought we'd go have another wonderful meal there. We got there for 5pm, and was told that the majority of the food on the menu wasn't available. So we decided to go somewhere else instead. 😢

Had lunch here: Pros: -great indoor outdoor flow + amazing views -stuff are welcoming and informative -ordered the fish and got 3 pieces great price for value Cons: -The coleslaw was browning which tells me it wasn’t quite fresh -Ordered an ice coffee and I am sorry to say it wasn’t amazing Just putting my honest opinion to help you improve. Other than that - we enjoyed our meal and the service provided

Spruce Goose never disappoints. the kai is always on point and usually comes out quick with hardly any wait. great spot to grab a bite before a flight. Only downside is how loud it gets inside, especially when it’s busy, due to the cafe setup. If you have sensitive ears, it can be a bit much and you end up having to sometimes yell to hear one another

Our new favorite ritual-- a weekend stop here. So fun to watch people and dogs playing in the water and planes coming and going while having delicious a delicious meal

14/07/2026: My friend and I go here regularly and the food and service is always exceptional. However, theres even more to my happiness they added ethically friendly cola which is not as common as it should be. Well done. And their granola my friend advised is top notch so im going to get to bring home. The @palestincola is yum and they have lots of flavours. This addition will make me go there even more often. Great shopping choices. Thank you.
30/06/2026: Nice place overall. Overpriced for what it offers. Last time I ate there I had the breakfast and it was nothing to write home about. Poached eggs were completely raw on inside, snotty slime when cut open, looked nice but not edible.
