Popped in yesterday for some lunch and tried out the beef bunny chow. All the flavours were there and reminded me of being back in Durban again. I said to them after, that they should sell takeaway portions of the curry frozen, so we can have at home too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area, or even if you're not in the area, take a detour and give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Best, most delicious and quick food in Douglas. The owners are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Great meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Highly highly recommend. Long live Stew Store!

23/12/2024: Friendly staff, comfort food, big portions, reasonable price. The poached egg and scrambled egg both a bit overcooked to me, but still taste fine. It's delicious, not expensive, and the portions are big.
21/12/2024: The interior decoration and overall atmosphere of the place is very welcoming, cozy and calm. Definitely a good place to recollect yourself from the craze of the city. I went here with my cousin and she enjoyed her pasta salad. However, I got a chai latte which I cannot discourage purchase of enough. It was a small cup of milk with a bit of cinnamon. And I mean a BIT, you could really barely taste anything but milk. It was a comforting drink, sure, but if you're gonna charge 3.50 for a product then make it the real thing. TLDR; nice vibes in the place but DON'T get the chai latte.
