Stew Store in Cork

4.3 stars. Checked out the Marina Market after a local recommended it to us. Upon arriving here, my wife and I decided to give the Stew Store a try. I ordered the Irish Beef Stew while my wife had the Vegan Chola Masala. Solid portions and freshly made. Reasonable prices ($13.95 each). Took a few minutes but food was of good quality.

First time I ate here, I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and it blew my mind. I was so used to what you'd get at a typical Indian restaurant with the pink sauce overloaded with Tomato paste, but what I got was a real and authentic dish made fresh, with passion and by someone who loves good food. I've come back again and again, trying everything else they have to offer and it never fails to surprise and amaze. Owned and run by an absolutely lovely couple, with a clear passion and enthusiasm for good and real dishes from around the world, they'll open your mind and pallet to what we've been missing out on. Absolute customer for life.

Fantastic authentic food, really tasty and good price for big portion. recommended if you around and want to get hot meal.

Got the Irish stew, was fantastic, a true hidden gem in the marina market. When winter season comes I am sure they will be up the walls!

Just visited the new store in Douglas! It’s easy to see why they have expanded so fast. The food speaks for itself. Authentic and fresh. I had the chicken tikka masala and it was Devine. The portion size was very generous. The place was spotless and the staff were so friendly! Customer for life here!

Mmmmm Laksa... amazing food here, the staff were lovely, not too busy at 5pm, and the atmosphere at Marina Market.. makes this one highly recommended
