Stockhouse in Trim

Had the early bird menu which has a very good choice. Food and service were excellent. The restaurant is comfortable and would certainly return. Imagine best to book ahead especially at weekends.

Even though they were absolutely bombarded with a festival come through, the staff remain pleasant, helpful, and downright wonderful. Not letting the rush get them down, they treated every guest with a smile like they had all the time in the world for their customers. The food is incredible and the menu has a good selection of meals, including revamped classics. As well as set price menu option (2 or 3 courses) makes great food at decent prices. I could not recommend highly enough!

Our favourite place! Consistently excellent food, service, and atmosphere. And the steaks...wow. I would absolutely recommend!

Birthday night with the misses and kid

We were lost tourists that couldn’t find our BnB. We ducked into this lovely restaurant and had a great meal. The owner was so wonderful, he offered to lead us to our accommodation after our dinner! Thank goodness! We never would have found it on our own. Irish hospitality is the best!

Spent our last night in Ireland at the hotel in Trim. Almost went to the hotel restaurant just so we could get to bed early. So glad we didn’t. Hanging with Michael and the rest of the crew at Stockhouse was one of the best meals of the trip. Food was great (best steak we had in Ireland and try the toffee pudding with a proper Guinness for dessert) but the people made the place. Wonderful folks and a great evening.

We went there for dinner with local friends. The welcome from the innkeeper was already an experience, the good man has a sense of humor. So we went to the table in a great mood. The service was quick and friendly, the dishes all came to the table pretty much at the same time. Half a point is deducted for the steak, which was served medium and not medium rare as ordered. The taste was still great! I can recommend the restaurant without reservation! We would love to come back when we travel to Ireland again.

Fantastic food, went a second night because it was so good. Kids had the fajitas both nights which they devoured. Adults had Chilli beef nachos, Brie, chicken wings, rib eye steak, chicken fajitas, portobello mushrooms and fettuccini pasta. Was great and reasonably priced

We went here formy sisters 50th birthday while on holiday. The food was amaazing but what really sets this place apart is the very friendly and accomodating staff. They went above and beyond to make it special. For the food I got the plus 2 with one of the best ceaser salads I have ever had and chicken Curry. Certainly well worth a stop.
