Stockhouse in Trim

Beautiful restaurant and food. Best steaks in Trim and the mushrooms and onion side is always amazing.

Good restaurant. Food was great and we were seated quickly even though they were nearly filled. The table was wobbly and it took a while before our order was taken but the food came quickly and was very good. Menu is setup with various set meal options if you order a starter and/or dessert.

We chose Stockhouse Restaurant for a meal on a whim as we were driving around Trim and I'm so glad we did. We were seated upstairs and provided with water and drinks very quickly. The food we ordered was from their set menu and our main and dessert were delicious. My partner had the steak and he thought it was 'melt in your mouth' delicious. I had a chicken fillet dish which was beautiful. I also had a cocktail, a bramble, which was lovely too. The staff were attentive, friendly and were very visible around the room. There was a friendly buzz about the restaurant. All in all, I highly recommend!

Highly recommend, we had a terrific steak dinner. I had the filet and husband had the ribeye. We both thoroughly enjoyed it! Great food, great service, great ambience.

Great food and extensive menu. Service second to none. It was our wedding anniversary (although it was only mentioned when we arrived) but they decorated my desert which was a lovely touch. Opens on a Monday even though website says closed. Definitely will be back when in the area.

This is a lovely restaurant who specialize in steaks but have many other options available including vegetarian, fish, pasta, burgers etc. Quite expensive these days. I understand recent cost increases so this could be a factor. Service is good if a little slow, but this isn't the sort of dining that you want to rush anyway. The food was largely really good. The herb crusted hake was perfect and piping hot, served with chorizo and new potatoes. The sea bass was lovely but a little on the lukewarm side. Chicken wings were great and the prawn pil pil was lovely. Highly recommended for a good food evening with family or friends.

Had a lovely meal with my family. Food was super, lovely staff and they really made us feel welcome. We will be back again soon.

Came here on the recommendation of the receptionist at our hotel across the street. From the moment my girlfriend and I walked in we felt like family. Mick, the owner, was hospitable and kind. He would stop and chat with us between helping other guests and told us a lot about Trim and its history. We both enjoyed our dinners thoroughly; I got the fillet and my girlfriend got the salmon. I will definitely be returning here when I come back to Trim. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

A fantastic night was had by all on Saturday 15th. Service was attentive, friendly and efficient. Food was outstanding. I’ve never had a bad meal here and whenever I visit home, I make sure to get a visit here. The best wings and steak going 🙌 The Argentinian Malbec and Erdinger lager were particularly popular with our group and thoroughly enjoyable! We were so grateful that the Stockhouse took our table size of 14 on what was obviously a busy night for them. Thank you all so much for making the night so special for my mam, we appreciate how special your staff made us all feel but my mum in particular. We will visit again for sure!

We were staying In Trim and had vouchers for the restaurant to go with family. We were delighted with the menu choices, quality of food and service. Would recommend 👌
