Stockhouse in Trim

Worked in Trim for a week and was in the nearby hotel.. ops manager brought us to this place... Frankly, that's how it's done!!!First of all mind blowing food cooked by heart, every dish! Presented with the highest standard!! Then the cherry on top! I am hungarian and ordered a goulash soup to try! It was fantastic however i mentiones the differences to the traditional goulash. We had 2 days of laugh out of it with the owners and the young cheeky waitress lady! I got the baby Guinness since i was naught and "criticied" the Goulash.... Let's say it is extremely rare when you really make a wonderful night eating out, and these guys delivered brilliantly!!! Have been there twice during the week,and very highly recommend them!! See the pictures for food and don't miss it out from your journey, because they worth it!!! Six Star all over!!! Ps.: The beef featerblade was absolutely stunning!!

Food was excellent, steaks cooked perfectly and it was the best cheeesecake I"ve ever eaten. Service was good, staff were attentive but waiting for a table was an uncomfortable experience, as there is no where to sit and wait and people are trying to get past you opening the door out into the cold. A good place to go with larger parties too. Will definitely be returning and happily recommend the Stockhouse to others.

Really enjoyable evening meal, with beautiful views overlooking the castle, superbly decorated dining room with a fabulous job done on Christmas decorations. Staff where extremely friendly and attentive, and food was top class, will be back!

Stopped off today for Sunday lunch with my dog. We got a lovely seat outside in the sunshine. I had their brisket burger, which is always amazing and my dog Molly enjoyed yummy chicken cooked to perfection for her. 😃

Another very pleasant meal in the Stockhouse, Michael and all the staff know how to look after everyone,locals and tourists alike.

Had the early bird menu which has a very good choice. Food and service were excellent. The restaurant is comfortable and would certainly return. Imagine best to book ahead especially at weekends.

Even though they were absolutely bombarded with a festival come through, the staff remain pleasant, helpful, and downright wonderful. Not letting the rush get them down, they treated every guest with a smile like they had all the time in the world for their customers. The food is incredible and the menu has a good selection of meals, including revamped classics. As well as set price menu option (2 or 3 courses) makes great food at decent prices. I could not recommend highly enough!

I have been blessed to eat around the world … African Countries (i.e., Uganda, Botswana), the East (i.e., Thailand, Viet Nam, Korea), Europe (i.e., Germany, France, England), and every state in the USA except Alaska. On vacation with my West Tennessee Family, our Ireland Tour Guide (deleted per Trip Advisor) suggested the Stock House Restaurant, 1 Emmet House, Finnegan's Way, Trim, Ireland. I ordered a simple steak with salad, potatoes, and mushrooms. I had wine. It was the best meal that I have ever had at a restaurant anywhere in the world. In the simplicity of the meal, the flavors were outstanding and the foods cooked / prepared to perfection. The ambiance and service matched the quality of the meal.
