Love this place, we happily order take away and they have a lot of vegan options for me as well, lots of desserts that I rarely find because of my allergies, so quite happy to see that. Burgers are very nice and they often have good offers. Hopefully we will be able to eat inside soon.

One of the best there is! The stoned cheeseburger and garlic cheese chips are my go to, and well worth the money. Any time I go in the staff are always friendly and full of chats, my favourite after work treat

Farrier & Draper

16/04/2025: I visited this fantastic bar before Christmas last year, and it exceeded all expectations unfortunately the place has been shut down now . The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with great music and friendly staff and lovely food by ‘Laacha Restaurant’ .
24/02/2025: Came way late at night- past midnight, I think. Great, rowdy spot for a quick drink.

Romayo's

25/07/2025: I order here on a weekly basis same items for takeaway as in grilled and southern chicken burgers. I must have a dozen orders already and the food is always same - quick, great and fresh! The only problem is when I order a meal deal or go for any kind of chips, loaded etc. Chips are terrible every time, I'm unsure if is the subpar quality of them or they aren't meant to fry in the oil they use. Literally any other brand of chips would go a long way. I barely eat a few and always give up on them. Improve this aspect and you'll get a 5*. Silviu.
11/07/2025: I remember when this place was Macari's and when it was renamed Romayo's. It has changed massively over the years. Food tends to be hit & miss depending on the day. Busy on weekends especially when the local pub closes but otherwise usually quiet. Chips were okay on this visit but again one of the more expensive items on the menu. Who remembers when chips were 50p and a snack box was £2.00?(I know economic changes are responsible for the rise) The chicken was okay too but when you need it, it's handy to get to. Plenty of parking outside if you're driving. Price wise it's on par with the likes of McDonald's but the quality is better. A 3 piece chicken meal is €9.99 and is usually freshly cooked while you wait. You can also alter the 3 pieces you get on the in-store kiosk or website & app ordering which also has a loyalty scheme. My other half said the sausages in his meal tasted okay too. Staff here are curt with their responses and have been much better in the past. If I'm saying please and thank you, then I expect the same level courtesy in return and not just having my change thrown at me and having "next!" called out in my face. If customers weren't coming in, where would the business be without them. A little respect both ways goes a long way. Overall it was an okay experience. I've never used the diner part of the takeaway but my nephew raves about it and always gets his nan to take him there whenever he visits.
