Quaint little cafe with friendly, welcoming staff. Pretty decor and a happy atmosphere. The sort of place books are written about. I went in and ate alone but didn’t feel awkward at all. Great coffee and fantastic food- I had a full Irish - The other reviews don’t disappoint, it was fantastic, the best black and white pudding I’ve ever eaten!

We had a beautiful breakfast of scrambled eggs and a delicious sausage roll with relish on the side this morning in the sugarloaf cafe. Warm, welcoming atmosphere for us and our little baby.

Had a lovely Irish breakfast in the sugarloaf cafe. A very warm welcome from the host. The service was excellent, the food was lovely. We will be eating here again for sure. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Every time we’re in Glengarriff, we have to pop into the Sugarloaf Café — it’s like visiting family. There’s such a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are always incredibly friendly and kind. The paninis are delicious, the coffee is consistently great, and the homemade treats are absolutely worth saving room for. It’s one of those places that feels like a little home away from home.

The Dog & Duck Pub

06/09/2025: Wonderfull local pub next to the camping site - we had a quick pizza and a few drinks last week. As we were leaving we asked the owner for an umbrella as it started to rain. We forgotten to bring it back on the next day and realized it only about 200km away from the site 🤦‍♂️ Hope the new umbrella we ordered arrived by now. Thanks again for your hospitality and all the best in the future for you and of course the Liverpool F.C. 🙌
27/08/2025: What a cool little spot. Beautifully situated by a little river. Very well kept, awesome staff and the crack was mighty as they say! Dogs, kids and ducks all welcomed. If you are in the area dont miss this top spot
