I was at the bar, there was no need to wait for a seat. I had to get the card myself after some time of waiting. Exorbitant prices. Average food

Great place for food after walk around Howth Head. Portions are generous. 5 of us went and all enjoyed it.

Practically unchanged for over 50 years, this pub is an institution. Unrivalled views and excellent service. Nice bar menu available and full range of drinks. A great place to spend a few hours at any time of year.

The food was super delicious 😋 Note to tourists I have to add, which many tourists don't know, that you always get your own drinks at the bar and pay for them directly. If you're lucky, the drink will be brought to you, otherwise you'll take it straight from the counter. However, if you eat in a restaurant, you will be served both with drinks and with food. The order is taken and the food and drinks are brought. I myself had difficulty ordering all over Ireland for a while because I didn't realize that this behavior was simply cultural. But you learn from it and try to deal with it and make the best of it. And once you realize that, it's no longer a problem to get something to drink or eat in any restaurant or pub.

My girlfriend and I went to The Summit Inn in Howth and had the House Burger prepared by Chef Carlos Eduardo — it was absolutely amazing and made with great care. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The shared meal was a very pleasant break from the walk. We have reserved but the space available allows us to accommodate people. The meal and the prices are affordable, just like Irish pubs! The service is not fast but we are on vacation 😀

The best spot to enjoy beer and food! Highly recommend the butter garlic mussels!! Absolutely one of the best mussels in Dublin. The ambience is perfect to grab some pints after a nice long hike!!

Was on a long promised trip to Howth and had planned to go to lunch! No parking whatsoever near the pier so we decided to go to Summit pub! Plenty of parking and lots of free tables! It was early lunchtime. We had soup and seafood chowder followed by dessert and tea! Well it was the best decision to eat there as food was excellent, staff so friendly and great service! Hubbie is a chowder fan and rated it as the best he had ever had! Mushroom soup was great, not full of cream like so many make it! Very tasty! Desserts yummy!! Place was full by the time we left so well done to all the staff and we will return soon!!

We love visiting The Summit pub for lunch. Extra points as you can bring your dog into their covered outdoor area. They always give you water for your dog in a dog bowl. Food is always excellent quality and really well priced. They have a section on the menu for vegan/vegetarian which is great. Staff are always really friendly too!
