Summit Inn in Dublin

Perfect for stopping off and taking a break during your hiking trip in Howth. Typical Irish pub setting where you can choose between fish and chips, burger or even mussels with the famous Irish "soda bread" (and beer of course). It's not a Michelin-starred restaurant but you feel good there and the price-quality ratio is interesting.

Ideal place to go for lunch after a walk through Howth. Great food at reasonable prices.

This really is a little gem of a place. Offers both an inside pub area as well as a heated, covered from the elements outside area that is dog friendly. Inside area is a very cosy, clean pub vibe with a lovely atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. *You can reserve a table is you call ahead Good selection of beers and wines and the food menu gave a lot of options. Food itself was a good sized portion and the fish in particular very tasty. Starters - Chicken wings with bbq sauce 👌 Mains - Fish and chips with side sauces 👌 We have returned on numerous occasions for both social drinks and food so we clearly do enjoy our time here. Highly recommend. Takes both cash and card. ** If sight seeing is your thing on a nice day, you are a 2 minute walk from the lovely cliff walks at the top of the road or if you wish to simply admire the great views from the top of Howth.

Great atmosphere. Plus a lovely pint of Gunness.

Restaurant with large covered terrace and 2 outdoor areas. Interior place with tables and bar, quite dark. Old and dirty bathrooms. 2/5. The tables were sticky. The food was good, nothing more. Kind and friendly staff.

My family and I went up for food and a couple of drinks yesterday! The wings and chicken quesadillas were unreal, the atmosphere is also brilliant and it’s a real traditional Irish pub (hard to find these days)! The Guinness was also great ! We’ll be back again soon :) (staff were very friendly) .
