SuperValu is not my first choice for daily grocery shopping, mainly because of the prices, but it’s an excellent option when I’m looking for high-quality products. The store offers a great variety of imported foods from different countries, and the off-licence has a very good selection of quality wines. It’s a great place for special items, and I would recommend it.

This store is like a sauna, every time I get out the store I am so sweaty that I need a shower. Please don't go above 20 degree heating, especially if it is colder outside. At least they have some vegan stuff.

Supervalu at the Kilbarry Centre offers an extensive range of fresh, high-quality produce as well as affordable home staples. Helpful staff ensure a smooth shopping process from the moment you enter. Woukd reccomend for the weekly shop, or just picking up a few bits, toilets are a bit hidden but just on the right as you leave, opposite the bottle return!

Waterford Marina Hotel

11/04/2026: Lovely hotel. Everything and everywhere was very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. Liked the decor throughout the hotel, very fresh and modern. Bedroom was a good size and well decorated. Liked the coffee machine and that there was also a kettle. Breakfast was great, a good selection available. Gluten free bread was available on request. About a ten minute walk to the main shopping area.
16/03/2026: 10/10 experience. Walking distance from the Anderson’s Quay bus station (highly recommend Kavanaugh coach). Private and quiet location off the main street. Open your window to enjoy the birds in the morning. Friendly, fast welcome at check in. Tidy and unfussy room was very comfortable and spacious. Shower water pressure was next-level. Biscuits and tea was a lovely finish to a long day. Close walk to dining options. Royal Wok is delicious and right around the corner. Endless shops and High Street close by. So perfect, can’t wait to be back.
