The food was excellent great choice for breakfast and the only thing better than the food was the service and engagement from staff. Came in with 4 kids and were accomdating to finding us a good place ro sit and were always over checking in and following up. 5 stars and will be back to eat again.

Very nice food, could do with offering smaller portions, the serving was huge! Not many normal chairs, we ended up squished in a corner, loads of high stool type chairs, but I'm on crutches and can't manage them. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was brilliant

Food was okay but expensive for what it was. The apple crumble was not appealing at all. Pastry half filled with apple. When we mentioned it, we were told that they all look like that. Overall it was alright but I would go back.

I visited Ruby Lounge for a birthday celebration and had a really nice experience overall. The atmosphere was great and the place itself looks lovely, perfect for a special occasion. The music was a bit on the loud side at times, but it didn’t take away too much from the night and still kept the vibe fun and lively. The food was definitely a highlight—everything we tried was tasty, and the portions were huge, which was a great surprise. You definitely won’t leave hungry! Overall, a great spot for celebrations with good food and a vibrant atmosphere.

It is a very nice, quiet hotel that provides a perfectly relaxing environment. ​ ​Our room was incredibly comfortable and featured nice, cozy beds that ensured a great night's sleep. ​The reception staff were absolutely superb—welcoming, efficient, and very helpful. ​It is in a highly convenient location, making it easy to get around the area. ​ ​Breakfast: They serve a decent breakfast with a good variety to start your day off right. ​ ​With its combination of comfort, great service, and convenience, the Viking Hotel is a wonderful choice when staying in Waterford. We would happily stay here again!

The Old Couch Café

10/05/2026: The surprise highlight of our trip. Some of the most delicate, mouthwatering and perfectly curated dishes (we had the tasting menu) with a wine pairing that blew us away. Luis and Gaston are perfect hosts. A place I will come back to again and highly recommend!
