Viking Hotel Waterford in Waterford

One of the best stays we had The bed room was spotless the food was perfect and services was great very good car parking as well staff were very friendly

We had a lovely stay at the Viking Hotel Waterford. It is a very nice, quiet hotel that provides a perfectly relaxing environment. ​ ​Our room was incredibly comfortable and featured nice, cozy beds that ensured a great night's sleep. ​The reception staff were absolutely superb—welcoming, efficient, and very helpful. ​It is in a highly convenient location, making it easy to get around the area. ​ ​Breakfast: They serve a decent breakfast with a good variety to start your day off right. ​ ​With its combination of comfort, great service, and convenience, the Viking Hotel is a wonderful choice when staying in Waterford. We would happily stay here again!

Went to this hotel for lunch. Very tasty and great service. Located beside the UPMC Whitfield Hospital which was very handy as had a procedure here.

We had a lovely one night stay in Viking Hotel during our road trip through Ireland. Very friendly staff who will do anything for your comfort. Nice room. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast was also very good. We wish this new management team lots of success.

What a find! We booked here last minute for an event in the SETU Arena. It is a 4 minute drive so we thought it would be handy. I wasn’t expecting such a lovely stay! Staff were brilliant on arrival, very friendly and warm. The room was gorgeous, set up perfect. The tv had smart apps so we could log in to a streaming service and relax. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We are already looking ahead to a proper weekend away and this will be where we stay!

Fantastic food great for parking and lovely and clean

A group stayed in Viking hotel . The check in was quick with a very friendly and welcoming receptionist assisting us. Rooms were very spacious with a large kingsize and single bed , with tea and coffee facilities.The rooms like all of the hotel was spotless ,a credit to house keeping staff. A likeable barman served us drinks in large bar/dining area. Breakfast next morning excellent with a large selection fruit and hot and cold food. If we had a complaint ,just a little ,waiting staff collect plates etc from our table even though some of our group were not finished their meal . All in our group were of the opinion that nothing should be taken until all had finished unless we requested . Others may disagree just our opinion. It did not distract from our enjoyable stay and all hope to return .

We ordered buffalo wings from the lunch menu £12 for 6 or 8 wings they were delicious, but I was charged £17 stupidly I paid, later on we were given a 2 course meal fish and chips were ok , The starter fish chowder which had no consistency it was like milk poured over the seafood,I ate the seafood but left the bowl half full of milk,
