Surf and turf in Midleton

I went there for dinner this evening with my daughter and husband. Both the starters and the main courses were super: my husband had a pan seared duck breast, my daughter had beef, and I had fish. The cheesecake: top choice! The staff is very kind and helpful! It was a very nice experience, thank you!

Amazing food. And incredible staff

Thank you so much to all the team at Surf & Turf, East Cork Golf Club for hosting our wedding reception! Kasia and the girls were so easy to deal with, making an overwhelming time so much more relaxed. Myself and my husband got married abroad then honeymooned for nearly a month and only had a week at home to organise the reception. I believe if it was any other venue it would have been a nightmare. But the staff were so cool and calm, there was no fear! The decorations, layout and food was beyond perfection. All the guests, (including two professional chefs!) were blown away by how good the food was and how much of a selection we had in the menu. It was the talk of the evening (maybe even outshined the bride and groom! 😂) Every little detail and idea we had for our Japanese themed wedding reception they listened carefully and made our vision a reality, in fact even better than we imagined. My only regret is not relaxing more and trusting them to take over everything, they really knew exactly what to do to make the day perfect. We couldn’t fault a single thing, honestly! Surf and Turf will be our go to venue for all events and parties in the future. Thank you all again for everything Kasia, her husband and all the team at Surf & Turf.

We returned here recently for the first time since they moved to East Cork Golf Club. It’s a lovely restaurant plenty of space, and nicely decorated. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. The food was excellent, we had the Chilli Prawns to share for starter and they were very nice indeed, and we both opted for the seafood platter which was splendid. If anything, there was too much food, so much so that we were unable to try a dessert! This is not a complaint! The restaurant was a little quiet, and hopefully this review will encourage more people to try it out. We highly recommend it, and will definitely be back. It won’t be so long before our next visit.
