Great little pub. Good range of drinks. Just a nice pub!! Staff were so nice. I left my bag there and they'd put it aside till I came back in a panic. Can't thank them enough!!

We spent a weekend in Kilkenny with 8 girls and you just have to be with Syd and Dave! Super authentic pub where football isn't on all the time. Dave gave us great tips about concerts and restaurants and made our stay unforgettable. We'll definitely be back! 😊

A simple endearing pub with warm company who poured the best pint of Guinness during our stay in Ireland…..sheer talent!! St James Gate itself had nothing on him. If you are a tourist and find yourself in Kilkenny, you owe yourself this authentic local experience. Cheers gents!

06/06/2025: I usually get a takeaway here. Food was good here, chips tasty, chicken wrap tasty also. It's a busy spot usually. Can be a bit of a wait if getting takeaway, I think they tend to forget if your not sitting down to eat. Overall though staff are friendly, food is nice, but the prices are expensive have to say for everything.

01/06/2025: Room was too stuffy with no ventilation let alone AC. Bathroom was ok and modern, though. Staff was nice. If you‘re like me and prefer a quieter location: note that this hotel is in the very lively bar district and it can be noisy at night.
