Table Forty One in Gorey

What a fabulous restaurant! Despite the limited menu I still struggled to decide what dishes I wanted - I wanted them all! We had 3 courses each and every single plate was perfection. My husband chose the signature fillet steak for his main course and it did not disappoint. The smoked bacon jam should be sold in jars! There is a small but excellent wine list too. The quality of food was matched by the service, with Mark expertly looking after every diner on the floor. He was attentive without being intrusive and despite being so busy remained calm and pleasant throughout. The whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely return.

Myself and my husband were visting friends from Enniscorthy who had booked a table for us for Saturday 26th October. From the moment we arrived to when we left, the service was impeccable and the staff were so friendly and were well informed of all the dishes. One of our friends is vegan and they really catered for her. Both of us had the cauliflower starter with chilli & lime mayo (vegan-friendly for her) and asian slaw. I was never a cauliflower lover but I am more inclined now to try it going forward. It's one of the best starters I have eaten in a long time and I'm a meat eater. The steak and accompaniments were delicious and I had the cheese board. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope that we get to go again when we are down visiting in the future.

Beautiful food, beautifully presented. Excellent value for money. They easily and cheerfully accommodated a gluten-free vegan. (You just need to inform them of any dietary requirements when making your reservation.) Cosy and comfortable restaurant with very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Incredible food with humble local ingredients. The whole ethos of the place is admirable. Can't wait to come back.

A Bib Gourmand restaurant in Gorey mainstreet Fixed price for 2 courses or 3 course €30 to €40. Very good food and well presented. Limited wine list, and somewhat expensive. We were in at 5pm and were told we would have to vacate the table in 2 hours, and were reminded about this on a couple of occasions. If you want to tip you have to download an app when you pay the bill. As a codger completely baffled by this so paid tip in cash.

Short menu, but very good. Very flexible too and vegetarians/vegans are fully catered for. A vegetarian/vegan menu can be requested when reserving a table. Excellent customer service too.

Went to Table Forty One on a wet Wednesday evening and glad I did. I was welcomed when I came in, as were a few diners with no reservations who were warmly welcomed. Food was great, as was the restaurant itself. I didn’t realise that it was located above some shops but for me that did not detract from it.

Had high expectations, unfortunately didn't live up to them. In fairness we cleared our plates, but it could have been a lot tastier. Would suggest a bit of grated apple with the prawns. The fat on the very nice pork chop could have been rendered down and maybe a bit of mustard added somewhere.

Had a beautiful meal in Table 41 -- staff so good & food amazing - small menu but that works so well - highly recommend & we will be back !!
