Taj mahal indian restaurant in Kiltimagh

Somewhat disappointing as first time buyers. Spent a while perusing the online menu before making our selections and scheduling a pick up time. When we got to the store, there was no record of our order and I was asked if I was sure that I had placed an order! "No, I'm just lying so as to cause confusion!" Perhaps a coffee could have been offered in lieu of the inconvenience for now having to hang around well after the scheduled pick up time?? The meal itself was ok'ish. Two lamb dishes - quite clear that lamb is simply added to the sauce/curry of your choice and not actually cooked in the sauce. Meat was tender but a bit flavourless. Garlic naan was lovely. The star of the show was the little tub of tomato and onion sambals.

The food was absolutely excellent.

We came, Taj served, and we came again. I have only one word for this place - spectacular. From tajs large naan to his wonderful waitresses it was a magical experience. Me and the fellas will be back!

The Indian food is second to none 😋 especially the Naan. It's not for those who like super spicy Indian; but if you like it flavourful without the "morning after " syndrome - this is THE place for you 😀. Oh did I mention the Naan? Make sure you say hello to Sam :)
