Staff are unbelievable friendly and helpful..dinner and breakfast were gorgeous..rooms were big and well kept all around a lovely hotel to stay in,I'd recommend staying there if your around Carlow

We had a fantastic stay at the weekend. We stayed for one night as a group of two families. Staff could not have been more helpful from check in to dinner. Food was lovely. Bedrooms spacious and spotless. Hotel is very family friendly. What really made our stay though was the staff. Special shout out to Pati at reception who went above and beyond. Our little boy left a toy behind and she went out of her way to not only find it but post it to us. Fantastic customer service!!

We recently held our GAA dinner dance in the Talbot hotel. We had 220 people in attendance. In the run up to the event I had a lot of dealing with TeeCee the events manager she was super efficient, helpful and professional, she was just brilliant. The ballroom , food and service was fantastic and I would highly recommend them for an event and all the staff were so friendly and efficient. I also stayed in the hotel with the room modern , cosy and the breakfast was delicious.

One of the managers gave me a free coffee before my driving test. Sadly that’s where my luck ended but I appreciated the kind gesture

Hotel itself and bedroom are nice. We had dinner in the hotel which was mediocre and was disappointing.

My daughter and I spent one night and were very impressed with the experience. We were given a quiet room as requested. It was a really big, modern room with great beds, good bathroom, coffee machine, tea and coffee tray, great mirrors and lighting and large TV. There was a really nice atmosphere in the bistro with friendly, efficient staff. The food was great and wine was reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Found the staff here extremely friendly, helpful & accommodating, from the girl I rang on the accommodation team in advance of my arrival (Jade I think) through to reception desk & cafe/ restaurant staff. The location really suited us & it's within walking distance of Dunnes Stores & a pharmacy etc

Would highly recommend this hotel to families. We went as a couple but will definitely return with our son as the service and attention was 5 star.
