Talbot Hotel Carlow in Carlow

Only stayed one night here(Sunday night)and was really impressed . Beautiful hotel and all its staff were very friendly and professional. Had a beautiful carvery lunch (roast turkey) it was delicious and plentiful and very reasonably priced. Breakfast in the morning was as good as I ever had in any hotel I've stayed. Will definitely be returning .

Overall it's pretty good. Sometimes the service was a little slow with staff chatting amongst themselves. Rooms were serviced very regularly to a good standard.

Had a lovely coffee here , lovely staff , decent prices .

Had our Christmas party on sat night was absolutely a brilliant night the staff so obliging, food was excellent , great entertainment, big shout out to Michelle on reception , tk u for all ur help and for the upgrade on my room, had a lovely stay.. ☺️

We were in Carlow for my grandchildrens christenings with 17 members of the family staying at The Talbot. Everything was top notch and the manager was a great laugh and extremely helpful. How can anyone give a poor review Dan and Family

Me and my family absolutely loved this hotel. It's so family friendly, plenty of nearby activities for the kids and swimming as well. All the staff are amazing. So friendly and accommodating. The food is so tasty and reasonable priced. The rooms are so comfortable and the beds are cosy. Shopping within walking distance. Would highly recommend for family getaways.

Great value, great location, great staff! We stayed at the Talbot Hotel on the Girly Getaway Package which ended up being absolutely fantastic value for money. The hotel itself is warm,clean and welcoming. It's a great location because it's near shops if you need to pick up any supplies and only a 5 minute drive away from lovely walks like The Oak Park Forest Walk and Delta Sensory gardens. The rooms are clean and cosy. There was a group of 5 of us, so we had to book separate rooms but the hotel actually put us in two rooms that had an internal door so we could technically all be in the same room which was really considerate of them. The afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast served could not be faulted, quick service and good quality food. The staff were really friendly too and looked like they enjoyed their jobs. Absolutely lovely stay totally recommend

We booked the double delight package for our anniversary celebration. Absolutely could not recommend enough! Staff were so kind & attentive, we even had a little note wishing us happy anniversary on arrival in our room (so sweet). The food was amazing & the decor of the hotel is lovely. We weren’t driving so it was at least a 30 min walk into the town, which isn’t a big deal! Definitely handy if you drive. There are a couple of shops right beside the hotel too if you need anything. Overall such a lovely & efficient experience!

I was upgraded to a suite and I have to say it was one of the nicest rooms I’d ever stayed in. Staff were all very pleasant

Kids Club is a great idea both our kids loved it and gave mammy n daddy a nice break....Rooms are dated but all amenities are present and the room is of a good size, everything works....prices at the bar are heavy especially for Carlow
