Talbots Seafood Bar in Béal an mhuirthead

We were very happy with the talbot. We were only looking for a place to lay the head for the night and a shower but the place was beautiful and the staff were amazing. Sharon who might have been the manager was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The rooms were beautiful. The pints were nice and the shower in the room may have been the best of my life.

Really nice and fresh seafood. The ambiance and staff are really nice. Will highly recommend if you are coming back from cold splashes of Dun-na-mbó.

We wanted to have seafood while in Mayo but were worried about gluten free options. Talbots had a seperate menu for celiac/gluten free food and thr staff was very understanding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I got food prepared as I liked while my husband got regular food. We got the seafood chowder with gluten free bread, the seafood platter (gluten free except we opted to have the battered cod on a seperate plate bc my husband wanted fried fish with the gluten batter). We also had the gluten free brownie, which came with ice cream. The food was beyond good and the brownie was warm and soft, not dry like a lot of gluten free things can be. I highly recomend coming here whether ur celiac or not. But if you are gluten intolerant rest assured you can eat here safely while enjoying your meal!

This Bar Restaurant was a good choice for us as a Family to have supper at. Very Friendly, got a table straight away. Service was quick. The food was delicious. The inside of the Bar was well decorated creating a great welcoming feeling
