Excellent Food and Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great feed if passing through Tullow. Free parking at the church a short walk away. Always a good sign when there’s lots of locals in

Foods changed since Lazy River took over the kitchen. Not sure it's an improvement to be honest. Food is still nice, but the pasta we got for the youngest wasn't great, bitterness wasn't cooked out of the tomato sauce and it lacked seasoning so not exactly appealing for a toddler. Staff were lovely as always and super friendly to the kids.

Had a family meal here last Saturday. Christening or something in the room off the lounge made it a bit wild with unruly kids etc until the lovely bar lady put a stop to it! Very loud where we sat also but the Leinster march was about to start so.. we didn’t pick the right time or date I guess! All our food was unreal! 3/4 of us had. a steak of some description and we all were amazed by its tenderness & the taste of char grill off it! Please pass our compliments to the chef as he’s knows how to cook a tender steak!! Wings starter were lovely but need a hot water bowl to clean hands not the tiny wipes the size of a smaller matchbox.. warm water is cheaper I’d guess…?? Desert was savage! Sticky pudding caramel. With twin 2 year old girl's, on the day id have preferred two little lumps of ice cream Instead of spray can cream… Again another desert spoon of ice cream would be cheaper than the spray cream can stuff!! Alll in though I’d give 8/10. We will be back again. Far better steak than the river bank. P.S.. update the online menu! I wanted breaded mushrooms, not a cap mushroom filled! 👍🏻

In the area on a Sunday morning I decided to treat myself to a Sunday Lunch. It was rather quiet at 12.30 when I arrived, there were about 8 people there, locals/regulars as staff called some by their first name. Chose the beef and its was a good choice. There was plenty of free water / cordial available. Meat was tasty and well done. Veggies were ok, they should try cooking them in stock to add some taste. Could had done with an extra spoon of gravy on it. Friendly staff, clean location. Would return. 8/10.

Excellent. Good food, well cooked and excellent service. I had the bacon and cabbage and it was excellent.

Nice food, friendly staff, would return no problem. If anything the food might have been served too quickly after ordering given it was very busy, but in saying that everything tasted good.
