To all the staff in the Tara Hotel, especially John, Chloe and Alannah, the young man who served us and the lady on the breakfast on Sunday 23rd!! We had our document signing in the hotel on Saturday 22nd November. The whole experience in the hotel was second to none. The staff was incredible, so kind, no question was too much for them. The hotel looks absolutely incredible since it was renovated. It is always our regular haunt several times a year for the last 6 years. We love visiting the restaurant with ours boys. The food on the day was incredible! But it always is everytime we visit. Chloe stepped in as our witness and she was so lovely to us and our boys. John (manager) was great craic and sat down with us for a chat. The hotel spoiled us rotten!! It is a gem in the heart of Killybegs!! Until next year!! Thérèse and Adrian Holom 22/11/25

My husband and myself ate in the restaurant. The food is delicious and decor is fabulous

Loved it. Parked outside the door, big rooms, amazing staff, location is literally the middle of town, facing the water, good food at the restaurant and TWO good pubs inside. From the desk to the bar crew to the restaurant all the staff were A+. 10/10

Had dinner in the Tara lastnight with family and it’s the best food we’ve ever had there. Excellent service as well as usual. Looking forward to retuning at Christmas already!

Absolutely stunning hotel.. first time staying there.. dinner was absolutely gorgeous.. staff fantastic.. interior was stunning.. beds were sooo cosy.. balcony outside of bedroom with seating looking out on to the water and boats.. spotlessly clean.. reception very friendly and very helpful.. will be back.. This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever visited. The accommodation is modern and very well maintained by a friendly staff. You've excellent views of the sea from your room or as you sip coffee and if you go to the Pier bar beneath the dining room/ lounge you will be pleasantly surprised with a fantastic collection of various items, books, clocks and all things entertaining to the eye. The 'fish tanks' in the main hotel bar are worth seeing but don't miss the Pier bar.

Dined there on 3 occasions in past week with my wife and 2 adult daughters, food and service excellent, staff very friendly, premises very clean with lovely view. Would definitely return if in area. Mick from cork.
