Terenure Inn in Dublin

Had some great seafood chowder. Definitely surprised at the quality of the food.

Lunch was not great. Chicken burger poor and fish and chips not great either. Did say to serving staff that meal was not great who apologised and said would pass details to kitchen.

Steak was lovely as was the mash although the onion in the mash was very potent and a bit overpowering. The young man who served us was so lovely although he was ran off his feet working all alone on the bank holiday!

A really old Dublin pub, I used to meet my father there on occasion. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

The bar man is a legend. And they welcome dogs in the bar, which is fantastic!

Nice food, man who works there during lunch time a bit rude. Not very friendly and can be a bit curt.

This is a great local pub, with good drinks and interesting food. They have recently changed menu and I was very pleased to see the addition of "pasta of the day" alongside a lot of traditional food. So very curious to try their Beer-a-misu The cocktails menu is also very interesting and it's something that we'll happily test soon. Interior wise, while the decor is always nice, it just becomes magical at Christmas.

My sirloin steak was a little smaller in size than expected but it was cooked perfectly to my request. My wife ordered the prawn risotto and again the portion was small, but very tasty. We shared a bread and butter pudding desert and it was delicious.

Great food, good atmosphere and friendly staff

Scallops were delicious and the beer-a-misu is a MUST!
