Delicious food in a nice place!!!

Me and my partner were in this evening for an amazing meal. As we walked down them steps we were greeted with a warm welcome. Staff were super helpful answered all questions, were extremely efficient. If anything it was a tad too efficient. By the time we arrived to the time we paid and left it was a little over an hour. Considering we had 3 courses it felt a bit rushed. I know the hospitality industry well and I know Friday evening is busy but I felt as though it was ‘get them in and get them out’. That is purely preference. We don’t get out often and would have been nice to enjoy a slower paced evening. Again we understand but to others it could be off putting. Food was hot and delicious. We both had steak and it was tender and Devine. Just a tad undercooked. My partner asked for medium and hers was closer to medium rare. I ordered medium rare and mine was closer to rare. Again no issue with us. We don’t mind as we’re not fussy but to the average diner this may have been an issue. Desserts were beautiful and decadent. Thoroughly enjoyed. If you’re looking for a place with delicious food and a great atmosphere I’d recommend a visit. Simple food done right.

Came in on the spur of the moment on a midweek night and this place was quite full but were able to get a seat. Good selection of food and reasonably priced wine. Service was great and very easy to get the attention for additional drinks, etc. Highly recommended.

We found the atmosphere in the underground restaurant pleasant and the level of noises from the other guests of the restaurant not disturbing at all. We had a pan fried salmon, the 10 oz Sirloin Steak and te 8 oz fillet steak. They all tasted wonderful. The meat was tender and prepared in accordance with our preferences. The side dishes were also tasty. Service was attentive and friendly - so everything was to our entire satisfaction.
