It was a great feel and the food was just like back home! Even the bourbon BBQ sauce for the bourbon burger. I got a 10oz ribeye medium and it was cooked perfectly to temp. I asked for a sear and they didn’t get that part thought. We also had the kids ribs. My 8yo was sad it only came with 2 ribs. We got the sampler as a meal plate and split it. The only thing lacking was service. We are water drinkers and couldn’t get them to keep our water full. We had to ask several times for each refill. It didn’t make sense. One of the waitresses was also snippy with me. Maybe it was just a long day but it was off putting. Service was a 3/5. We’d definitely go back for some Texas food!

Perfect place. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and they were very helpful and atmosphere was great. Delicious food.

Overall, it was a very good experience and the meat was very good. Of course, we did select the fillet, so it should be good. Service was good and the steaks were expensive, however, not above any other restaurants in the area and everything else was reasonably priced and I found many things such as drinks and sides a lot cheaper. Only negative is that the Bourbon sauce was a little too sweet for my liking.

Just had our lunch at the Texas Steakout, absolutely gorgeous restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious and so quick and amazing service Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Waitresses were lovely and especially have to say hats off to the lovely gentleman who took payment at the end who refunded our order when he found out we just got married! 11/10 when we are back in Limerick will be here again! Lovely lovely experience

We have been here many time. Kudos to staff members who are excellent from the time we get to the table till we leave. They are so efficient. The foods are always high standard and the portion are good.

It’s been quite awhile since I was in this restaurant we were seated straight away. We both loved the restaurant and how cozy and comfortable it was, we were served very quickly and the staff were friendly, I ordered the filet steak and it was cooked perfectly, my wife had the burger and she loved it, we will have to come back again as there is a lot on their menu that I would like to try. My only complaint was the onion rings I found the batter too heavy.

One of my favourite steakhouses in the world. Have been coming to Texas Steakout for the best part of twenty years whilst working in Limerick. Always great food and great service.

Booked last minute on a Saturday Rugby Weekend. Despite it being a full house the Staff were friendly and efficient. Ribs for starters were terrific and the meat fell of the bones. For mains we had a fillet steak and the bourbon burger. Steak cooked perfectly and was a beautiful piece of meat. The burger was tasty but just a few too many caramelised onions for me but that's just personal taste. Would have loved dessert but was too full. Well priced and would definitely recommend a visit. Note booking is online only.

The Buttery

03/08/2025: Food – OK. Not above average. Service – in my experience, it's quite mixed. We sat outside with our pet dog and that wad fine. The order taker was exceedingly polite and efficient but that's where it ended. Afterwards, a separate server brought our food after a very long time and when I ordered a dessert with coffee, the latter was delivered to my table in whip smart time bur without the dessert. Now, it's always considerate to allow for other demands on server and waiting staff, so I waited and waited and continued with the tedium as my coffee grew increasingly cold. Eventually I left my table to approach one of the servers and explained my situation in the politest manner I could muster. In jig time my dessert arrived with a gratis coffee. And in an instant it was abundantly clear that the dessert was pre-prepared, meaning that there was no real excuse for the discounted delivery of my dessert order with coffee. I'm not concerned with their logic for operating like such save to to say that as a customer I really felt poorly served throughout the whole experience. Would I return – definitely not. Would I recommend the Buttery – definitely not if you want reasonable service. As a rider – I observed that during my visit, service and attention was preferentially focused on tables occupied by tourists, non-nationals and the like. That's not good enough.
30/07/2025: So good. Food , service, atmosphere all top notch. We had 4 different dishes all excellent served with a smile. Really impressed.
