TF Royal Hotel and Theatre in Castlebar legal

Lovely hotel, really nice big room, comfortable beds, good hot shower with a bath as well, tea and coffee facilities in the room and friendly staff.

Went to Amsterdam recent Johnny Cash tribute. Good atmosphere Parking can be a problem.

Recently bought tickets to an upcoming event in The TF Royal Thearte. After purchasing the tickets directly from the TF Royal Thearte, unknowingly to us our seats were separate, this wouldn't work for us as one of us has a disability and would need assistance. We contacted the theatre sales department as most theatres have a backup plan for situations like this. Unfortunately we were originally told to contact Ticketmaster as it was their issue but Ticketmaster informed us if we bought directly from the theatre site that it wasn't their issue to resolve. I called the theatre back and spoke with the gentleman although he was very friendly, the only resolution he could give me was to sell our tickets at a cheaper price on the local radio station. It's sad that in 2025 accessibility issues can't be resolved. We are currently €175 out of pocket simply because accessibility isn't being prioritised within this establishment. UPDATE The manager Michael Yates contacted us by email and phone. Michael was able to get the situation sorted for us in a couple of hour I will say Michael and I think the woman name was Carmel not 100% sure. They got us seats together still with a great view Thank you very much. We had a great night. When you have the right people in the right place solutions are always possible. Big thanks to Micheal and his team that sort it for us.

The hotel was nice, well presented and easy to find.. unfortunately it was let down by the yew tree... service was OK at the beat.. some food on breakfast needed more taste.. cereal options saved it. As did the toast and jam. Overall good hotel with options but id distance the rooms from the shows.. my opinion.

Spent a couple of nights here while doing some geneological research in Castlebar.Centrally located, near The Mall and the county library. Comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again. Rooms on the first floor but no lift.

We had a lovely family lunch at TF Royal Hotel, made even better by the excellent service from Iqbal Saeed. He is friendly, attentive, and professional throughout, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Service was smooth and efficient, and he added a warm, personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly commendable.
