TF Royal Hotel and Theatre in Castlebar legal

We’ve visited this hotel venue several times over the past couple of years for gigs and performances, and today’s experience was absolutely brilliant with the Wizard of Oz pantomime. We arrived early and enjoyed tea and cookies in the café, then sat in the covered outdoor area, which was lovely. The staff were attentive and welcoming from the moment we arrived. As the show was unreserved seating, we made sure to arrive in good time and had no problem getting seats together as a family of five. The ushers and security staff did a fantastic job directing people, with members of the management team clearly on site throughout, helping to coordinate everything and ensure the event ran smoothly. Queues for the shops and toilets were very well managed, which made the whole experience feel calm and well organised. The show itself was amazing, and it was great to support a locally produced pantomime. The tickets were excellent value for money for a 3–4 hour family day out. Overall, this is a great venue for local families, couples, groups, and solo visitors alike. We’ll definitely be back again.

I recently attended the Alan Clarke Big News Coming Soon Podcast Show at the TF Royal Hotel and Theatre. From the start to finish everything from the food, bar staff, entertainment was first class and we are so lucky to have this fantastic venue here in Castlebar and so many events I am looking forward to in 2026.

A brilliant venue offering fantastic shows throughout the year. The service was exceptional, and the business is extremely well run. The staff were highly professional and well trained, and the food and drink were top class. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent experience recently at 2 concerts hosted by the T.F, bar staff were excellently efficient and helpful which allowed for 2 great nights, will certainly be coming back!

Had a brilliant Christmas thanks to the TF, Kingfishr and Picture This were incredible the place was buzzing. The venue is very well run, the sound was insanely good. But I have to credit the bar staff who despite the venue being packed they were fast, friendly, and on top of things, keep up the great work ☺️

The TF Royal Theatre & Hotel in Castlebar is a fantastic venue and a real credit to the town. The music venue is excellent – great sound, great atmosphere, and well laid out so you get a brilliant experience whether you’re right up front or further back. It’s one of the best spots in the west for live music. The hotel itself is equally impressive: comfortable, clean, and welcoming, with friendly staff who clearly know how to look after guests. The food and bar are top-notch, and it’s perfectly located right in the heart of Castlebar. Special shout out to General Manager Mick who was a pleasure to deal with. Whether you’re staying over or heading to a gig, the TF Castlebar delivers every time. Highly recommended.

Can’t fault this TF. it is an absolute gem. A brilliant venue with a fantastic shows and we love the atmosphere!! The service is second to none always friendly, welcoming, and efficient, even when it’s busy, which makes a huge difference. The food is excellent! Try the steak 👌🏼 fresh, tasty, and great! Highly recommend!
