A regular trip for evenings out as a couple is great here. Or a trip as a family to try some thai food. I usually get the thai green curry which is rich and creamy and delicious. I typically get the highest spice rating and this is afaik the spiciest place in Newbridge, if you have a higher spice tolerance for an Irish person it's lovely, otherwise temper your expectations. Staff is always wonderful and typically you can walk in to plenty of tables.

This is our first time dining here. I came with my family and I was very much impressed with the level of hospitality they showcased right from the doorstep. I had my 14 month old child in his child seat and I was having trouble managing the seat and opening the door but our server LINA helped me to get in the restaurant. She was very patient, giving us enough time to settle down. She took our order giving very confident suggestions that made us to trust her especially with our 8 year old who is a picky eater but she somehow convinced him much to my surprise. We told her that we were doing furniture shopping and she gave truthful suggestions that really impacted our choice of furniture to buy for which we are very grateful to her. Our food was served by CAN(pronounced as Jon). He was a gentleman asking in between if we needed. During that time my 14 month old spilled my drink on the table and CAN helped me to clean the mess. When we were leaving, we came to know that LINA & CAN were mother and son. We would definitely come back again.

If you're in the mood for delicious Indian food, check out this lovely buffet! They serve traditional dishes that are simply mouthwatering. The freshly made Appan and Parata are a must-try. The seating is comfortable, and the whole vibe is just delightful. They even treat you to some homemade Payasam as a complimentary dessert. I highly recommend this place for a great dining experience!

The Silver Oak Indian Restaurant, Newbridge

29/10/2025: Had been to Silver Oaks in Newbridge for a birthday party, and the experience was absolutely brilliant! The ambience is spacious, well-lit, and perfect for a gathering. We started with Aachari Chicken, which lived up to its name and was delicious, and the Veg Cutlet in the veg starters was quite good too. For the main course, the Naan with Chicken Curry and Paneer Curry, along with the Biryani, was well-balanced and pleasing to the palate. Overall, a great dining experience with good food and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely curious to visit again and try out more dishes from their menu!
07/10/2025: We were lucky to be prize winners from a Facebook competition. The staff are very friendly and very obliging. The food is great, prices are good too from looking through the menu. Great service and very polite staff. Definitely a spot worth trying for anyone who enjoys rich, well-prepared cuisine. Met the family running it, very down to earth and friendly people. Will definitely be returning. It won't allow me to upload the pictures of our fab food unfortunately, it keeps saying error occured.
