The Anglers Bar & Restaurant in Cork

Went for a bite to eat on Friday the 28th of March, food was lovely and not only that but the service was excellent. Andrew I believe is his name, looked after us and he did not dissapoint. He provided service with a smile and even recommended the wings for starters which were savage. Thank you Andrew. Will definitely be coming back.

First time here and will definitely go back. Food was beautiful and the service was fantastic. We were there St Patrick’s weekend so there was a great vibe about the place.

Visited the place today for lunch, we LOVE that it’s dog friendly and brought our old Bischon frise who got a little dog chair and water also, so great to see more pet friendly restaurants, will go here to support them because of this 😊

Very relaxing. Beautiful bar/restaurant. Excellent food. Service tended to be a bit slow but the place was busy and all the service staff were very helpful and friendly. The fish cakes were delicious & very filling as they were accompanied by chips and salad. The place is wheelchair accessible but the carpark is across a very busy road , so care needs to be taken when crossing.

Had a lovely time, great food, great service, but in fairness- the car park is a disgrace, nearly lost in pot hole or two! Be careful crossing the road also.

Highly recommend food is 10/10 pizzas 🍕 are just woo. My all time favorite pizza cooked to perfection. The staff are so friendly greeted the second I walked in the door every time and your never left waiting around

Called here after a hospital operation and as it was the middle of lunch hour we were worried we wouldn't get a seat. However we did right in front of the furnace. It you need warning up on a cold day with a nice drink and some food then look no further. 🥵 Two things immediately strike you . First it's like being in the stock exchange on the wolf of wall st. The staff are jogging from table to kitchen and table to table. It was breathtaking and waiting for the sound of a collision but it never came. Secondly there are several dogs on leads so although I'm not sure the busy staff would notice. But I assume it's dog friendly. That's not a bad thing in fact I embrace it. Good for them😁 The food when it came felt rushed. The coli flower starter was swimming in sauce. It tasted lovely but overflowing. The fish was a little under but warmed up over a couple of minutes. Personally we felt that if they put a limit on the number of covers rather than squeezing everyone it then it would be amazing. Sometimes less is more! Would I go again? Yes I want to try when not so busy. Cost.. very reasonable. Great car parking. Beautiful lodge feel inside. Pets welcome is great. Just slow it down a little

Great from start to finish. Emailed to see if I needed a booking... Aine told us just come on in.. we did and she was there to greet and seat us... such a genuinely friendly girl. Served by Karen. Great food Great service.. thanks
