The Bay Restaurant in Kenmare

Very good location. It's a 5-minute walk to Kenmare and a quick drive to the Ring of Kerry. The staff is very nice and the breakfast is delicious and extensive. Rooms are large and have everything you need. The room service could be a little more thorough (I'm relaxed, except when there's someone else's hair on the duvet). In addition, the toilet ran slightly constantly and was not fixed despite notice. It wasn't disruptive, but it wasn't sustainable either. Otherwise, gladly again. I didn't test the wellness, but it looked very good visually.

Weekend stay in one of the ladges. Great with the kids. Nice and modern and was spotlessly clean. Great value too

Excellent since we arrived yesterday. Pleasant and efficient staff. Great facilities for our grandchildren with the playground and swimming pool. Great choice in the restaurant for all and very good gluten free selection.

The room was so warm, the bed comfortable like every small thing in the hotel The personal in the Hotel was so nice, the best part of our staying was a guy from Mauritius 🇲🇺,, he was so kind with us. I don't know how much they paid to him but I can say that's its not enough! He deserved a raise🫶 greats from Argentina! Y aguante messi🙏

Could not have been looked after better

We stayed for 2 nights B&B & 1 evening meal last wkend the food was amazing & service was brilliant .Great Value with their Winter Break price. We will go back.

We ve got the 2 bed house instead of hotel rooms and that was the best, The houses are very clean and there is everything in them that you would need, kitchen fully provided if you want to make your own- breakfasts or dinners, Beds are comfy. There's also a garden with bbq. On top of that 2 parking spaces with extra charger for electric cars, We took extra breakfast in hotel and it was great decision, Great quality for value, Price include pool, sauna and jacuzzi... to be honest there's nothing more you would need.

I meant to amend this review months ago. Following this initial review I got a call from the manager first thing on Monday morning at 9 am. She was very apologetic and very very nice to deal with. I'm very grateful for her come back and her professionalism. We received a voucher for a 2 night stay as an apology. Very appreciated it. We won't let this experience change our mind and will continue to visit on our once or twice a year as previous years I have been staying in this place for the past 15 years. Never had one single issue. We were told the pool will be open until 9 pm so we took our time as we are on our holidays. Last entry to pool for under 16 is 7 pm (not told) - Arrived at the pool at 7.05 and no entry allowed for my 13 years old daughter. The young man Mike was extremely sarcastic and patronising with a dirty smirk on his face. Bad bad form will stay in Killarney in future. Disgusting behaviour. When complained to management at the reception the manager wasn't aware of the pool rules.

The hotel offers a lovely atmosphere that made my stay delightful. I spent two nights and wished I could have stayed longer. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. They clearly care about guest feedback, which enhances the experience. While the food was enjoyable, the tiramisu wasn’t quite to my taste. The leisure center is clean and well-maintained. Overall, my experience in Kenmare town center and at the Bay Hotel was fantastic—truly a perfect place to unwind.
