The Black Dog in Cork

My favorite dish there. It's more like a quesabirria with a cheese crust, the flavor is just like barbecue, and it comes with a small portion of consommé and rice ❣

There's so much to love about this place. A lively late night bar with a great DJ. The atmpsohere is great and there's always dacent tunes blasting. Quickly becoming a favoured spot since moving back to Cork. Tried the food for the first time this weekend, the tacos were savage. Really tasty.

I didn’t try the food here, but it looked really delicious. The drink was perfect. The staff were also very nice, and were all working very hard. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely come here when in Cork.

Had an absolutely great time, beer selection was brilliant and the whole feel of the place was super welcoming!

We ordered the pork tacos and beef birra Tacos which were delicious. Their home made sauce is really tasty. I had a Mexican mule cocktail which I really enjoyed. The portion size was generous. The service could be slightly better as I waited at least 15 mins at the bar to pay for the bill but I understand it’s busy at weekends, just a little more attention and acknowledgment could be given to this.

Music, staff and atmosphere were all grand.

We were here in 2019. The atmosphere hasn't changed much. And that's a good thing. BDSM is and should remain a rock bar. Here, you sit down, enjoy a few beers, and chat with the locals. The music is more of a side effect. If you're a little peckish, there's also freshly prepared food from the smoker/grill. I had nachos with baked cheese. It's really good here. The Black Dog is always packed on weekends. It's definitely worth a visit...
