The Black Sheep Hostel & Coffee Shack in Killarney

Only stopped for coffee, but got some great advice while there (on how to explore the most of Kerry with the very little time we had. Good coffe and service 😊

One of the best accommodations so far , really enjoyed our stay with friendly people, staff and clean rooms. Would always recommend this place. Worth every penny !!

Lovely coffee and friendly staff early opening at 7am for a coffee while out for a walk

Absolutely loved my stay ❤️ It is a caffe too so you can get cosy cup of coffee right after breakfast. Breakfast is included (bread, jam, peanut butter, cereals, yogurt, milk) and you have access to tea at all times. There are three friendly dogs, bikes for rent (10€), national park 5 minutes walk, Tesco and Dunnes 5 minutes as well. The interior is beautiful and very hippie, clean rooms and spacious kitchen. There’s two showers and two toilets on each floor. Employees are nice, friendly and very helpful. If you enjoy community atmosphere, this is the place to stay! For 25€/night it’s a steal.

Would highly recommend The Black Sheep if you are looking for a hostel in the Killarney area. It is conveniently located near the city center and national park, has comfortable and private beds, nice staff, well equipped kitchen, and tasty breakfast. We did not try the coffee shop but heard it was great as well. There are also chickens and dogs (chickens friendlier than the dogs.)

Hands down the best hostel in killarney anytime I go to killarney I try to get this hostel because its near the town near the national park and it's quiet,clean and free breakfast too!

Apartment at Hostel was incredible value for money, Only issues we had was with getting into 1 of the rooms which was sorted immediately and same with an alternate way to get into the main building when the phone lock wouldn’t work. Great location right by metro station. Can be bit hot in roof apartment and bit noisy but can’t complain for price paid per night
