The Black Sheep Hostel & Coffee Shack in Killarney

This was my favorite hostel I stayed in while living in Ireland for 3 months. It was a great location within walking distance to restaurants and shops in town and a short distance from Killarney National Park. That being said it is not close to a bus or train station, so keep that in mind if backpacking. The beds were the most comfortable I've found in a hostel, each with their own privacy curtain. Lots of storage space for your luggage, lovely people both working and staying there. Felt super safe! Use of the kitchen was encouraged, a sweet little working garden in the back, cute pup, bike rentals available as needed, and a cozy front living room with a fireplace, games, and instruments. Was super homey and special. They even offer laundry services for you if you need them! Great spot, would definitely stay here again if I come back to Killarney!

Highly recommended place to stay in Kargil (really interesting place that is the main gate to the Zanscar Valley, one of the gems of India). Dont doubt about this place: the rooms are confortable (even it has three bathrooms per room), the living-room in the third floor is amazing, it has terrace, restaurant, and one of the best view of the city. Summary: Facilities are great; the best I've found in India. Also, all the workers are extremely nice, polite and helpfull.

Really great hostel. Room was cosy and each bed had nice privacy curtains. Lots of space to store your stuff. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast included and you can have homemade daily soda bread. The kitchen is nice and the common areas too. Everything is kept clean. The showers are good but one of them was a very tight squeeze, can't really get changed in there. The dogs are really cute.

I hostel a lot , i didn't get to stay here. But the people were nice when I went in for an Inquiry To make a booking, I definitely would have stayed here. Unfortunately, they had a full house , that tells you.

Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed. The vibe of this place is absolutely amazing, it feels that this is an authentic place. Enjoyed the well-designed interiors, as well confortable and well-equipped rooms and public areas. Renting a comfortable bike for admiring the neighborhood is a plus! You can also get here the continental breakfast and buy a good coffee served in the hostel coffee-shop.

The best hostel in Ireland, prices from 24 euros per room for 8 people. Comfortable lounge area with fireplace and dining room. Breakfast is available from 7:30 to 9 am. Nice music and people. The cafe offers the best coffee in town

Only stopped for coffee, but got some great advice while there (on how to explore the most of Kerry with the very little time we had. Good coffe and service 😊
