A truly unique and unexpected location under the train station. Absolutely stunning. Top-notch service. The food was exceptionally good, and the drinks were, of course, top-notch.

We stopped by the Bloody Stream for lunch after some hiking and sat in the dining room with the fireplace. The atmosphere was very warm and comfortable and the service was top notch. Our servers were friendly and the food was piping hot and served quickly. The cider on tap was also nice.

A couple of weeks ago, a group of friends and I had the chance to visit Howth, but the weather was terrible due to heavy rain and a very uncomfortable wind. The best decision we made was to go into Bloody Stream, as it brightened our day. We went without a reservation, but we were kindly served by Maria. She served us a magnificent and varied meal with oysters and shellfish, delicious cod with mashed potatoes, and excellent fish and chips. We finished up in another part of the restaurant, next to a fireplace, enjoying a delicious Irish coffee. Thank you, Maria.

A long time since l was here so decided a return visit was in order. This place is located in Howth beside the train station.
A busy place and a lovely atmosphere when we were there was made extra special with the open fire.
Wait to be seated at a table, we hadn't made a reservation but will the next time even though we hadn't long to wait to be seated.
The staff were very kind and efficient.
Lovely selection on the menu.
Howth is a lovely area to walk around and lots of shops etc to visit.

A place right below the train station. The food (we mainly tried fish and seafood) is delicious. It's important to book in advance, especially if you're going on a weekend with good weather. If it's sunny, be aware that the food will take a while... in our case, it took quite a while, even though they warned us beforehand, but it was incredibly crowded since it was the first sunny day after months of rain.
I highly recommend it. The salmon was absolutely delicious, and the seafood platter was also very good. And of course, we had pints of Guinness!
