The Bloody Stream in Dublin

After the circular hike in Howth, we ended up at the Bloody Stream. In Austria, you'd say it's a train station restaurant—which isn't necessarily a bad thing here! One drink turned into several. It's a good thing there's a train to Dublin every 15 minutes... The prices were very reasonable! If you're thirsty after the hike, this is the place to be!

We had shrimp cocktail and fish soup with stewed mussels... Everything was very good Highly recommended

Changed my review from a 4 star to 5 star. It was originally ment to be a 5 star. Lads, are always very welcoming and friendly and food and drinks decent 👌

Went here at the end of the purple route Howth walk (it's right at the end). Service was excellent, drinks were drinks, food was pretty bad. Had the mussels/chowder special - the mussels were mostly empty shells with a few stringy hangers on and the chowder tasted mostly of sweet cream. The beef and Guinness pie was okay. Maybe come here for a drink and a bag of crisps but don't get excited about the food.

After a day spent in Howth, we decided to stop for a meal before leaving for Dublin. Friendly and very kind staff, good food, but in a seaside area I expected something more. On the other hand, I did not consider the price high, in fact, in line with what was requested and my expectations. Nice environment. Since it was a lunch that had to be reimbursed through work, our request to have 4 separate receipts created quite a bit of confusion among the staff.

Had a good lunch of fish & chips. The rest of the group also ate well.

I got a cake for my sister's birthday, and the staff were so sweet. they brought out candles and even sang happy birthday! Super thankful for how thoughtful they were. Also, the oysters and seafood stew were seriously amazing!

Splendida atmosfera. Servizio rapido e cordiale. Squisita la chowder soup e altrettanto buona l' insalata con caprino caldo, peperoni e pomodori. La Guinness.... beh quella era perfetta.

We arrived in howth thirsty straight off the train from Dublin City centre, the pub directly outside the station had such a welcoming vibe the front garden was a total sun trap, we popped in for a drink before taking a wonder around the harbour the staff were so friendly and the atmosphere so good that we came back for our dinner on our way home!!! Food was absolutely delicious and not all seafood like other spots in the harbour, top food top service, recommend to anyone visiting howth
