The Bookshelf Tralee in Tralee

Meant to be a nice spot so I got the eggs Benedict and pancakes.. eggs Benedict had brown bread instead of toasted white English muffin, I was dissapointed with this, very little hollaindiase sauce and the bacon was tough and thick… instead of thin and crispy.. first time ever seeing eggs Benedict with brown bread and I hope it’s my last time. Just doesn’t go well, not much taste or flavour overall. Pancakes were like protein pancakes… very flavourless, no sweet taste.. brown again made with brown flour.. Seems like place focuses on health too much instead of taste

A lovely café with plenty choice on the menu! The kids enjoyed really tasty pancakes while I had a delicious ciabatta and a really good coffee. I will visit again when I'm in Tralee.

Great food, lovely coffee decent price.

Passing through and decided to stop here based on the great reviews. We were lucky enough to arrive at a good time and we're seated straight away. Brunch menu was very impressive. Ordered the pancakes, French toast and avocado and poached eggs. Food arrived promptly and was fabulously presented and tasted even better! Lovely touches like the pecans with French toast, and a spicy dressing on the eggs, both delicious. Service was great and staff all friendly and helpful. Regretting we don't live closer but will visit on our next trip to Kerry! Only suggestion I would have is that a children's menu would be a good addition. They do have kids portions but a menu is nice to choose from!

Great food and atmosphere but quite noisy, we struggled to have a conversation over the smoothie maker being used behind the counter!

Excellent Coffee friendly staff

Stopped here for breakfast before starting the Ring of Kerry. Very modern cafe/coffee shop. Coffee was excellent as was the service. Had the full Irish breakfast and it was quite good, as was the accompanying brown bread. Would definitely stop here again.
