After descending the coastal path, we stopped at this restaurant. A welcome stop. Don't expect gourmet cuisine, but it's perfectly suited to this beautiful port setting. Very friendly service, warm setting...

The Brass Monkey Restaurant and Wine Bar hoping for a cozy spot to unwind, and I wasn’t disappointed. I kicked things off with a refreshing sangria that hit just the right balance between fruity and fun a perfect start..For food, I tried the classic fish and chips, the calamar, and the onion soup. The fish and chips and onion soup were definitely crowd pleasers, comforting, tasty, and exactly what I needed after a long day of sightseeing. The calamar, however, didn’t quite make the cut for me; it just wasn’t my cup of tea. What really stood out, though, was the friendly and attentive staff. They made sure I was well taken care of and even recommended some great pairings to go with my meal. If you’re looking for a laid back spot with good vibes and mostly delicious food (sorry, calamar lovers *-* ), The Brass Monkey is worth a visit. I was on a language study trip to Dublin with a group, and this restaurant was recommended to us by a language instructor – and rightly so: We had lunch and dinner here. The staff was extremely friendly (really made you feel at home), and the food was absolutely excellent (a variety of seafood)! It's a real shame I don't live nearby; otherwise, I would definitely be a regular! Thank you for the wonderful time!

A very pleasant place to have lunch. The hake dish was somewhat unremarkable but it was competently cooked and the fish was fresh. Friendly service, nice ambiance and good coffee afterwards:)

So far, we've eaten at this restaurant every time we've been to Ireland. We're very grateful that certain places stay open. It's funny that we've always had the same table.

Very good. I like how soundproofed the terrace is so you don't disturb anyone. But the service was also great, despite the language barrier. We understood each other very well.

A lovely spot in Howth with a cozy, friendly feel to the place. All the dishes were delicious, the Monkey Burger, salmon and stuffed canneloni. Very friendly and attentive service and no problem when we decided to have a second bottle of wine and just hang out there longer. Thankfully we're local so we can go back whenever we want!

Solo atienden con reservas y se entiende por pocas mesas y lugar pequeño. Muy buena calidad su comida todo en referencia al mar y porciones muy buenas, un sabor muy unico. Recomiendo 100%
