Popped in here to get a few treats after I spotted others leave the cafe with white square cake boxes. I went in and there was a lovely feel to the place and it was busy. I ordered a homemade snowball (marshmallow covered in chocolate and coconut), a raspberry and almond tart and a mini coffee cake for takeaway for €9. One came to €2: I think it was the snowball; the others were €3.50 each which I thought was reasonable given the quality and size. All were delicious. I will definitely return if passing Ballinasloe. Keep doing what you are doing😋.

Good food - great breakfast choice Good coffee & baked goods Friendly staff Vary limited choice in Ballinasloe at 9am for a decent coffee in centre of town 3 waiters chatting and 3 custoners only. My table had coffee stains on it & the table in front had crumbs on it for the 50 minutes i was there, plus artistic ceiling & light cobwebs blowing in the breeze. Ladies toilet ok, cleaning rota not completed for a couple of weeks. A bit more attention to detail and I'd give it a 5* Breakfast & coffee hit the spot.

A cozy place where the service is outstanding; they couldn't have been friendlier or more pleasant. We went for breakfast and the food was delicious and the service very fast. I would definitely return.

Very busy....even on ASH WEDNESDAY...loads of atmosphere...very friendly...I invited a man that was queuing for table...and he joined my table...and the staff were Aware of this man's needs....and knew what he wanted etc....knowledge of what was avaiable on the Menu...and their advice and assistance was FIRST CLASS...Will call again.no doubt about that...

Deli Store

10/03/2025: Quirky little coffee shop quietly tucked away from the busy town. Coffee is beautiful, and the food is absolutely delicious!! Such a lovely and sweet man, Dave's Deli and coffee shack is Ballina's hidden gem.
24/01/2025: The breakfast spot we stopped at didn't have coffee due to their coffee machine breaking, so we stumbled along this place after our breakfast and I am so glad we did. This is by far the best coffee I have had an Ireland so far and I have been here for 5 days and tried coffee in many different towns/cities. The woman behind the counter was knowledgeable and helped me get a strong tasting coffee. I ordered a white mocha latte and my partner ordered a gingerbread latte. They were both divine. The service was quick and the cost was decent at 4.20 euros each for what seemed like a regular size. The decor outside was funny with all the cute coffee signs and inside the shop was homey feeling. I saw that they also make sandwiches and if I ever stop in this town again I will be sure to try one! If you find yourself in county Mayo definitely stop by this little shop, the coffee alone is worth it.
