Called in for a cappuccino 10 mins before closing to take away (not local so didn't know their closing time). Friendly staff, who could well have said the machine is off, made sure I got my coffee, which I must say I really enjoyed, I will be back.

Martina, her husband, and their crew welcome you with open arms. Delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. We'd love to come back the next time we're in Ireland. I highly recommend everyone to visit The Bread Basket!

We stopped for breakfast on the road between Galway and Dublin. Both the sweet and savory options were good, and the scones were delicious. The place isn't too touristy, a bit basic, but worth a try.

02/01/2026: Called in for new-years lunch; to treat myself, first day back at work. So glad I found this cozy little spot! The staff are just so welcoming & friendly (even when their so busy!) Treated every customer like family, no wonder it was full of locals. Food was hot & tasty, served speedy. I got dessert to go, because it was a busy period didnt want to hold a table for just me... Highly recommend Chicken wrap & almond/pear tart. Their window display for Christmas was amazing too. So worth a visit. Ill definately be back x

06/01/2026: Great Italian restaurant!! Great service by staff on all occasions. Lovely food. However one star deduction due to pizzas. I ordered a pizza and with no ventilation for the base, it got soggy. But it was lovely all the same.
25/10/2025: Amazing pizza, very nice customer service and definitely recommend for a quiet dinner…
