Excellent location. Nice size room and great view from our window.

My girlfriend had found this gastropub in Wicklow Town, and we thought it would be interesting to try it out. We were not disappointed. We managed to get a small table with a view to the river, which is always special. The pub itself is quite big and has plenty of tables both indoors and outdoors. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner too as the lentil soup was delicious, although my burger was a little bit on the dry side, despite the sauce. It was not the best burger I ever had, but I have also eaten worse. What we both loved were the chips! The service was great by the main waitress, who was happy to help us out, but some of her colleagues would just drop the food and would not even look at us or say anything. It was somewhat unusual. Given the location, we may not be back, but I think it's definitely worth a visit if you are in or around town. The terrace must be very busy on a nice day.

This review is only for the restaurant since we didn’t actually stay at the Bridge Tavern. We ate there 3 times however. That should tell you something, that we liked the food, service and ambiance. The breakfast served was fantastic. If you sit at one of the tables along the river, you can enjoy the lovely view of the old bridge. I can highly recommend the restaurant when in Wicklow.

I really enjoyed my stay at the bridge Tavern however the air conditioning in the rooms could have been better, it was very warm in the room. The bathroom was also not fully clean, and there was a lot of dust. However the staff were really friendly and professional.

Went here recently and the portion sizes wouldn't feed a pigeon. Over priced for very little food. Shame as the food here was very nice

Stayed there for one night. Rooms are nice. Nice pub. Dinner was good. Breakfast was the highlight. It was one of the best I had in a hotel.

It is a nice spot right by the river. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were extremely helpful. I will definitely return.

We stumbled across this place. A little gem. Went here for Sunday lunch, I had a fish and chips. Fish was massive, husband had beef he loved it.. a little pricier than usual but well well worth it. Go here you won’t be disappointed..
