My mother and I ate here this evening,not only was the food excellent but the service was so friendly and efficient,the staff are what makes it such a special treat.Particular mention to Amy,Amy and Sean who were so warm and genuine As an ex COO of five star hotels I must compliment the recruitment and training of the staff.

It is such a shame that the beautiful outdoor tables are not currently available for food service. The management team should reallocate tables to ensure outdoor dining is facilitated. Food and restaurant is very good.

Brought my parents for a meal in the Carriage House yesterday. Lovely attentive friendly staff, food was beautiful too , even though we were a party of 5 we were severed quickly. We plan on returning next time for an overnight stay. Carton House is a beautiful place to visit.

26/09/2026: Amazing place, lots of staff and all so friendly,kind and very tentative. The service is surprisingly way better then in a nearby hotel! I would recommend eating here whenever you’re passing this way. I can’t believe how staff makes every request to look so easy and simple to facilitate.
21/09/2026: We had the afters for our sons Christening here and couldn't fault it. Robbie was great to deal with and all staff on the day were incredibly helpful. Food was lovely and there was plenty of it for our group size. Would recommend for any functions.
