A beautiful room in the American diner style with red upholstered seating. It is an impressive room with a lovely bar. The food is excellent, if a little overpriced. We had the burger and the curry and tried 2 of the desserts also. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive and was worth the 10% service charge. We only wish we were able to give it to him directly.
We went to The Carriage House with family after a massage in the spa at Carton House. Lunch was really lovely. The pate is to die for! The steak sandwich was so tasty and very tender... prices were very reasonable considering the location. A few glasses of Sauvignon Blanc topped off a lovely day! Staff are warm and friendly, there is a lovely vibe. Would defo go back we loved it!
