The Central Bar in Navan (an uaimh)

Birthday party dinner and drinks for my brothers 50th last night, The food, service and atmosphere were first class, big thanks to Yvonne for taking such great care of us

Cafe & restaurant. Indoor & outdoor seating. Casual dress. Serves alcohol. Delicious food. Reasonably priced.

My favourite local, great atmosphere, one of the best pints of guinness in navan. Frankly the staff alone make it an easy choice to become a regular. Most of the bar has sufficient reading light as well (minor point most people wouldnt care about but worth a mention).

Only had drinks but they were great. Tried to carry more than I probable could of handled from bar and immediately server came up and helped me take drinks to table. Great smoking area . Great bar with areas to suit all. Great mix of young and old. Really enjoyable place to be.

Works xmas outing, food was ok,not worth 55 euros per person though, small portions. Staff were generally pleasant. Entertainment in the lounge afterwards was reasonable.

This place has it all, very good, homemade food, at a very good price, and charming waitresses. I also have celiac disease and they were very clear about gluten.

I went into the restaurant today. The food, drinks, and desserts were very delicious, but a little bit pricey. The portion sizes were not big, but not small. They were medium at best. I had a good experience in the restaurant area with my two friends, and the staff members were very nice and friendly.

Fantastic smoking area, the Old Fashioned was delicious and the other cocktails were great as well

What a spot for great drink, great food and mighty craic as they say in Ireland. My endless whirl of entertaining the big players of the real estate world eventually brought me County Meath, Ireland, known bizarrely as The Royal. The mission this time was to bring a group of property people in from their stud farms and country estates to wine and dine them in Navan. The Central Bar & Restaurant kept coming up as the place to be. And so it is. We were a party of 20 discerning carnivores. The owner, (young, handsome, athletic but spoken for) was there to welcome us and had everything so so. Table arrangements were perfect, just beside the superb trad band who got going at the end of the meal. The food; pretty darned good! Steak was rare and perfect, great prawn starter, yummy bang bang cauliflower, quality vino at a price even you can afford.😁 Lovely attentive staff. We went on a Wednesday night, and tho a quiet night on the town The Central had a great busy atmosphere. I'll be back. Great for groups and family.

Lovely setting, great food and friendly staff. We sat outside on a small table by the street. There is a really nice terrace on the roof too. The bar looked very modern and nicely decorated. Looking forward to another visit!!
