Outstanding food never tasted good so good and the staff are lovely, out of town a bit but please try it worth it I be back, lovely cozy restaurant

We dined as a group of 14 for a special occasion. I had emailed in advance and was told that a there was a set menu for groups of 12 or more and that a Sunday roast special would also be included. On the day we were then advised that it was not. Most of the food was delicious particularly the starters and desserts. However 5 out of 14 people ordered well done steaks which all came out medium at best. We paid a supplement for the steaks to be cooked to order so this was disappointing especially as we were treating our guests to this meal and so they would not have wanted to complain. Service of the main course was also slow with 10minutes between the main course and sides being brought out. Most disappointingly, I emailed the restaurant afterwards outlining the issues and still have not received a response a week later. As a result I would not recommend the church for a similar event.

Had a really lovely dinner here. Lots of options on the menu, and so accommodating for dietary requirements! Everything we had was delicious and the staff couldn't have been nicer!!

The young staff were very pleasant and helpful, the restaurant was empty apart from ourselves and 3 people outside. The food was lovely, we had 3 small children with us and the staff were very helpful. The kids food was so nice and the breaded fish goujons were lovely I have one minor complaint, I had the sous vide chicken with gnocchi, very well plated and cooked, but there was so much butter and salt used that after 5 minutes, it was difficult to eat, I did finish it. The beer battered fish was not crispy. Just little things. I would recommend it though. 🙂
