We were staying at Rockhill House and popped down to the Church both nights we were staying. Food was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There seemed to only be one barman and one waitress and they were busy but everything ran like clockwork! Great location too! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful location, lovely restaurant. Staff were really attentive. Manager was great, she really looked after everyone. A small annoyance was arents allowing their kids to run around, especially since they kept opening outside doors & leaving them open.

Friendly, efficient and attentive staff. Lovely cosy fire on and easy listening music in the background gave a relaxing warm atmosphere. The menu had an excellent variety and the vegetarian option was fantastic. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the risotto was gorgeous. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we will definitely be back.

Really beautiful area only a short drive from letterkenny town centre. The grounds are beautiful to the house which you need to book The resteraunt was lovely for lunch then dinner that night ,with great attentivestsff and fresh food. I had the ribeye and it was the best steak i have had in a long time. They were very good at making your cocktail to suit if you did not want it too over powering. Great little circular booths for children and lots of home made cookies.

Amber Lounge

19/05/2025: For my birthday I was given a 150 euro voucher to get a message and after have some lunch. The spa experience was amazing, the girl gave me the message was really talented, however after my great experience in the spa I had 25 euro remaining for some lunch in the hotel lounge called Amber. I order the steak sandwich which looked amazing when it was delivered to my table. I quickly realized tho that the steak cuts were very fatty, the whole time I eat it I had to constantly remove fat. It was very disappointing as this is a 5 star hotel. In my opinion you should not get fat on your steak sandwich which costed me by the way 22 euro. So yeah very disappointed with that. I would of spoke up but I was under pressure to get back home. Spa was amazing but I genuinely felt left down getting a 5 star hotel experience with the lunch.
10/01/2025: This is a mid-range family restaurant but does what it says on the tin. We had an enjoyable family meal on our first evening in Cork.

31/03/2025: First visit here recently. Was a little disappointed with food. Maybe it was just my order. Ordered vegetarian burger, waited ages for it to arrive. Burger was cold .. the baps were rock hard like concrete. A member of staff came over to check on us and l said l couldn't eat it could l have fresh baps please. He said they came from freezer and that they didn't have any fresh ones but would check if any were in hotel across the road. I are the salad, burgers and wedges because l was hungry and again it took some time for staff to get back to me. He arrived with two toasted fresh baps and apologized to me. A bit pricey at €18.50...Because they were busy and the place and area was so lovely and garden was a vision. It didn't put me off to perhaps return again, maybe order coffee and cake instead. Family had ordered pizzas and wraps said they were fine, good.They ate their meals as were hungry.
