The Club House Hotel in Kilkenny

I stayed here on Sunday 10th August for 2 nights I would like to give Natasha 10 out of 10 for her fantastic welcome and personality she accommodated all our requests and I will be back again hopefully in the future well done Natasha and all the staff at the club house hotel

Lovely hotel. We stayed here before and said we would come back as the hospitality was exceptional. Well, we were so glad we did come back. We stayed in the new part and its fab. It still has some of the old part and when you're going to reception from the new part you have to go through the old part and it's like going back in time. It makes the hotel different from other hotels. We liked it. The food again was fab and the staff so friendly. It was my birthday and there was cake waiting for me in the room. A lovely touch. Thanks guys. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here as part of a 20 person hen party. The staff and manager Ian were amazing to deal with in terms of organising it, nothing was too much hassle. They put us in the drawing room which was a perfect space for us for drinks, food and games and entertainment. Bedrooms were beautiful and spacious. Location absolutely ideal. The entire group had nothing but good to say about the staff, their helpfulness and our stay. Thanks again to everyone, will definitely return for a weekend stay!

Lovely rooms, easy to check in, had a little hiccup that was sorted straight away. Dealt with Elizabeth who was a lady. Highly recommend and would reccomend and stay again

Stylish and old hotel inspired by the classics. The common areas were interesting and gave the feeling of something unique. However, as others have also written, the hotel could have benefited from a proper deep cleaning of the floors, walls, ceilings, carpets, moldings, etc. The room we had was cramped and smelled like an old gym locker room. The rooms were noisy and there were a lot of cobwebs. It felt a bit like being on a boat, as the floor was also moving and crooked. The sink was clogged upon arrival, and one of the towels was stained, and even though they said they would fix it, it was not done. Nevertheless, we had a good night, and let ourselves be charmed by the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was also nice. Be aware that there are several stairs (more than you think).

The room is large, although accessibility isn't the best. The hallways are somewhat narrow and have small stairs halfway through. If you have trouble sleeping, I don't recommend this hotel. You can hear people walking in the hallway, you can hear doors closing... Beyond that, everything was clean and the service was friendly. The breakfast wasn't great.
