The Club House Hotel in Kilkenny

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the centre of Kilkenny. The building itself is beautiful, with a characteristic antique decor that makes you feel like you're staying in a castle. Our room was a pleasant surprise: modern, recently renovated, and very clean, with everything we could possibly need. Despite the historic feel, the room was very cozy. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially the lady at reception who gave us perfect tips for our evening out. We also appreciated the traditional breakfast and the convenience of the private parking. The heating system was slightly noisy, but it didn't bother us much or affect our sleep. Overall, a fantastic experience that we highly recommend for anyone visiting the city!

Really great place. I visit for the board game nights on Tuesday and love the venue. Great staff - really nice, helpful and friendly. Facilities are always clean and kept to a high standard. Bar is very nice. Plenty of selection. Food is decent and the prices are reasonable. Lovely coffee also.

It's an old hotel, yes. But in my opinion, it's still in need of some renovation, especially the bathrooms. The hotel's location, however, is truly unbeatable, and the breakfast is really good too!

We booked the Club House Hotel for a friend's Hen Party and I cannot recommend highly enough. Every member of staff was a pleasure to work with and so helpful. They all went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They made the whole weekend so easy and stress free. The location and having everything else so close and within a few minutes walk was absolutely ideal, especially with a large group.

Fabulous hotel. Great bar, lots of friendly locals and great bar service. Location was great as well. Comfortable room and good bathroom.

Service was good. Food was excellent. Old part of the hotel is a bit confusing. Use the stairs by the car park

We only stayed there for one night and one morning. Staying for two or three days would have been even better 😊. Very charming style, great reception, and great breakfast too! I highly recommend this place ❤❤

I'm often in Kilkenny for leisure and I stay elsewhere, however I thought I would give the club house hotel ago so booked two nights. There is ample parking around the back of the hotel which is a bonus, and if you've not been to this wonderful town before you are right in the heart of it. To be honest I was a little apprehensive about booking this hotel, however the hotel has recently had a number of rooms renovated my room was lovely. The breakfast was also great Every member of the team I engaged with was polite friendly and genuine. I would without hesitation book the club house Hotel See you soon ☘️🇮🇪

Fabulous hotel and Fabulous staff great variety menue

A great place to step in out of the rain and get some real Irish food (other cultural foods available too). Location is great, it's old worldly and very cosy spaceous peaceful with very comfy chairs with seating outside. The staff are great, helpful and friendly, parking available around the back, prices reasonable, a nice cosy bar just off the dining areas and a few nooks n crannies for privacy or family dinning, very happy, come here if you want to get filled up for a day of shopping ahead and just a base whilst you tour this stunning city don't forget to visit Kilkenny Castle first which is a 6-7min walk away.
