The Coast Cafe in Ballybunion

Overlooking Spanish Point, close to the Armada Hotel. Loads of free parking. A little restaurant and bar, very nice. Great coffee. Our room was massive! 2 beds and two couches. Spotless. Our friends were in two other room, they were gorgeous. Coffee and tea facilities, very important 😁, very good shower. Only met one member of staff, she was a credit to the place. Gluten free breakfast no problem. If we go to Spanish Point again I would hope to stay here. Excellent.

What a place, friendly staff, amazing food, and the chicken carnation wrap along with the garlic cheese chips are very well worth mentioning what a place we go to ballybunion and this in our collective opinions is the best option for lunch with seating in and outside and I great communal vibe all and all a place worth reviewing with 5 stars, I would give 6 if I could.😁👌

I eat here every time I'm in Ballybunion. It's popular so on very busy days there might be a few minutes wait for a table but it's worth it. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is great and the food is delicious. The area inside is well spaced out, bright and airy. Our order was taken quickly, the waitresses are always friendly and the food is always good. I can't fault anything, but the only downside is I think it closes too early at about 4pm.

Really enjoyed our lunch here on a busy Sunday. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was great, proper chicken and ham in toasties. Had gluten free mozzarella and pesto toastie and it was very nice. Take away coffee for the beach was nice. The overall experience was great, would recommend.

Service was very good, food was good, I got a breakfast with a perfectly fried egg. The price was reasonable, so can't complain at all. The one thing was that we had a large table, and we had several orders, extra coffee's etc. The system for tracking the items could do with a revamp to make the job easier for the staff. But the girls serving were very nice and efficient, all our food arrived together. We will be back.

Another top class visit for breakfast yesterday (24/6/24). I’ve visited there many times over many years and have never been disappointed. Recommended

A nice place and food ok. But I got extra bacon with my pancakes for 2.50 and they gave 1 rasher. Just comes across as very stingy. Wouldn't go back.

We went on Sunday, we both got the seafood chowder. It was nice, however it would have been nice to have prawns, mussels and some salmon. It was mainly white fish, potatoes and celery. Squid rings were lovely, small portion though. Service was great
