Really nice pub with live music on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. But that's not really a pub for young people nor to find a lot of draft beers

Had a few lovely pints of guinness served by Karl, who was friendly and engaging after he got used to my dry humour. A nice fire đŸ”„ which is always a great draw

Café Ruoge

14/06/2025: Cafe Rua is rarely quiet and for good reason. Never less than imaginative, with a twist of orthodoxy thrown in - the food here really is delicious. The service and warmth of the welcome is second to none. This restaurant is a credit to Castlebar and Mayo. We look forward to visiting it every time we are in Mayo.
