The Coffee Pot Cafe is a great stop for a snack before or after hiking the Gap of Dunloe! After a cold, rainy trek, we thoroughly enjoyed some hot tea, soup and their fantastic deserts!

They have gluten-free bread and you can order the sandwich you want and they adapt it. The accompanying potatoes are fried with regular oil and they told me so. To compensate, they gave me extra salad. There were also some separately wrapped pastries marked gluten-free. Very friendly.

It's a fab spot perfectly placed near the Gap. The staff are lovely and beyond helpful. I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm back in Ireland.

Awesome little coffee spot in a stunning location. Owner and staff were great and very family friendly! Food was great. Overall an amazing spot to start or end your day at Gap of Dunloe. Can’t wait to return!

A cozy café with a large selection and delicious food. We really enjoyed it! The service was a bit inexperienced (hectic, uncertain), but they had the place well under control.

25/10/2025: A traditional pub with live music and excellent food. Great for families with children.
19/10/2025: Really lovely country pub. Visited with the Irish Subaru Drivers Club as a final stop in our Doolough valley run. The food was immensely tasty, and there's a huge amount of room in the back for dining, as well as a huge terrace overlooking the beautiful scenery as a smoking area. I got roast lamb and spuds, and it was absolutely beautiful. Well worth the spin.
