The Coffee Shop in Wicklow

A wonderful experience. Staff was all smiles and very helpful. They embodied the stereotypical Irish reputation of “The nicest people in the world.” Charming place to sit indoors or out for an amazing meal. Soups was simply amazing. But, do what ever you can to get the brown Irish soda bread. Simply but, it’s the best bread I have ever tasted. Ends up the recipe is from the owners grandmother, if nothing else, get the bread!!!🥖

Inconsistent.. which makes it hard to appreciate the quality of food.. the mood of the staff really dictates if you have wasted your time or not.. maybe because I'm not a local face.. because everyone else that is known to them.is served with a smile and makes you think you'll get the same treatment 🤷

Very busy when I visited. Good selection and service

The girls were doing a fantastic job on a busy bank holiday afternoon. We had an excellent lunch here. Would recommend the Black Castle sandwich and brownie. It is dog-friendly and very accommodating to dietary requirements.

I tried a toastie at a cafe in central Wicklow and I liked it.
