The Connacht Hotel - Ruebens Restaurant in Galway

It's easy to find, has good parking near front door and is quite pretty. The reception area is spacious, so is the bar and breakfast area. The pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, lockers rooms are all top notch.

What a beautiful hotel in Galway! This hotel is very kid friendly, our room had bunkbeds, and my children loved it ! Any staff we encountered was phenomenal! We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and each time it was a great experience and they were really accommodating to my child’s allergies! The pool was incredible too - another thing my kids loved! It was warm and everything was super clean. Honestly wish I could find a hotel like this in the US (where we came from) but they simply don’t exist. If we ever come to Galway again, we will be back at the Connacht!

Training Day Delight! I had to attend for a training day and loved the hotel experience. I must say that the front of house team were excellent. They noted I looked a little lost and the fact that they cared to ask was really good. Really welcoming hotel, great staff, comfort and lovely food. LOVED THE DAY in the Hotel!

The upgraded changing rooms at the Leisure Centre are absolutely fabulous, finished to a very high standard with a real luxury feel. Every member of staff greeted us warmly, including the kids, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was very spacious, especially considering there were five of us. The bunk beds were a big hit with the children and added to the overall comfort of our stay. Dinner was excellent. The kids always look forward to the pizza, and the sundaes from the children’s menu were such a treat. We’ve stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints, we’ll definitely be back again soon.

We had a fantastic family-friendly stay here! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well organized. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and perfect for traveling with family. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the meals were delicious. The bar service was excellent as well — friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a perfect place to relax in the evening. Breakfast was a highlight! The continental options were fresh, plentiful, and very tasty — a wonderful way to start the day before exploring Galway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially families!
