Good food and service, overall good experience

Chicken wings were legendary...

I’ve ate at this spot on a couple occasions and I have to say, it’s always been a noteworthy experience. The food is absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend the beef or chicken box. The beef box is full of flavour, and delicious. The chicken box with the sweet chilli mayo, spring onions and red chillies add a nice kick and fullness to the meal. The staff are second to none, and make the dining experience stand out with local charm. They are very accommodating, welcoming, and prompt. Curragower has a terrific ambiance, with very inviting spaces across the dining rooms and bar area. This is certainly a place you don’t want to miss when in Limerick.

Went as a group of 12 and can't really fault the experience. The venue has a very cosy bar at the front and upstairs the Restaurant has a lovely view of the River and Limerick City with a beautiful historic back drop. The waiting staff were excellent and very attentive, could not fault, always eager to assist but very unassuming at the same time. Food gets 4 stars but that is because it was only excellent as opposed to spectacular, so not a negative overall ;-). The only issue I had and it's very minor one is my dish of Tiger prawns came with either chips (fries) or rice. I enquired about the type and was told they were beautiful only to get served frozen cooked fries. For the money I would have expected freshly prepared chips. Minor but did jump out at me and if I had known I would of went with rice. Great meal though so keep up the good work.

The first place I bring visitors to Limerick. The upstairs patio view is outstanding, the staff are friendly, effective and efficient. The food is outstanding. Best sea bass dish i have ever had. Its neither formal nor casual and has a ton of atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. The chef does an outstanding job in the creation of delicious food.

Hopefully a blip in normally our favourite spot. Service war dire. Forgetting basics, cutlery, food orders, drinks etc and not just us …. Everyone around us was similar boat. Manager was rude when we arrived and didn’t improve or help out when staff was slow. Staff was not busy place was half full and still a lot of back talk. I’m not yer waitress when we pleaded for napkins and forks. How do u drop 6 dishes and not see no one has forks . It wasn’t one bad waiter I mean there was several… food was ok tho lol maybe just a bad night.
