Good location on the river Shannon. Looks very cool, great atmosphere. Good is good, famous locally for the chicken wings.

Delicious, absolutely delicious! The seafood soup is my favorite; it's so filling and you could have a side dish with it. The wings are also delicious and filling. I ordered the seafood mix during the lockdown in the days of COVID-19; it was absolutely delicious and enough for two people. Seafood Chowder 5/5 Garlic & Herb Mussels 3.5/5 Chicken Wings Non-alcoholic Mojito 5/5

Booked a large group for a work related gathering. We were well looked after regarding dietary requirements. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was great. Location is lovely. Highly recommend.

08/11/2025: I had an amazing stay at the Bedford Townhouse! The room was beautiful and spotless, and the service was incredible from start to finish. The team went above and beyond by allowing me to check in later than expected and even arranged a late checkout to match my flight time. It made my stay completely stress-free and comfortable. Highly recommend!

26/09/2025: My friends & I have been talking about going to Freddys for years - Time just got away from us & we finally had the chance to go last night and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was fabulous, the staff were warm and welcoming and the food was exceptional. As a vegetarian, I struggle to get anything that isn't a standard curry or thrown together stir fry, but the options at Freddys were amazing and the nut roast was by far the best veggie food I've ever eaten in Ireland. My friends, all non veggies, said their food was divine too. Would absolutely recommend to anybody and everybody.
24/09/2025: Class food and great service made for a lovely night. The menu is relatively small but the quality of the food was amazing.
