Lovely food with a great view of the river Shannon from the 1st floor restaurant. Excellent service and very reasonable prices.

Delicious food. I served myself some exquisite gnocchi, and I prepare some very good ones, and my daughter a vegetable soup of the day and a tomato risotto. Everything was very good and the place was beautifully decorated with views and unbeatable service. Congratulations

What a terrific place to spend the afternoon or lunch hour. Food was delicious service right up there. The view of the flowing water is so relaxing from the big glass enclosure. The four of us had lunch and all enjoyed a terrific meal. We had to park down the street a block but it was so worth it. The walk to the restaurant is also beautiful along the edge of the water.

I absolutely loved the food, the service and the views. My server Andrea was fantastic, she was more than helpful and was also quite funny during intervals of conversation. The only thing I didn’t like is the “time slots”, I felt extremely rushed by the front bar staff checking me in to finish eating and leave at a specific time, it made me feel like the restaurant valued money and time over quality service and experience.

Beautiful food, atmosphere & setting. Staff were really lovely & our waitress Chloe was particularly helpful & made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend when in Limerick.

Fabulous restaurant. Great views and food. Staff are excellent, especially Chloe - she is a credit to the restaurant. Always helpful, cheerful which makes our experience very enjoyable every time.

Got to say I really liked the place before the renovation have been there only a hand full of times since and I always feel a bit sad. It used to have more character, it now feels gentrified only really trying to come of chique and aim for that kind of clientele. The food is okey but there are better places in Limerick with better prices. Some of there dishes are just not nice.

Our favorite in Limerick, Curragower is an old Irish pub doubled by a modern restaurant to lunch and have dinner on the Shannon river bank. Best view of King John castle.

20/10/2024: There was 24 of us… all ladies- every single one of us said it was yummy, affordable and enjoyable!! We had lovely experience with good service. Nothing was a problem. Table was booked for 2 hours which is plenty of time if You on time. We then moved to bar and had yummy cocktails!! Must try! We also had breakfast . Big selection of absolutely everything. Proper coffee!! Wow that was wow… many places ( hotels) do big pots of coffees which I find yucky… … if You coffee drinker - you know what i m talking about:-). Thank You George Hotel for everything!! Definitely will go back!

21/06/2024: Wow. The waitresses are just fabulous - such lovely people who really make sure everything with your food coffee and table is just as you want it. So good to their patrons inside and outside the cafe. Thats an amazing plus to what was the BEST goats cheese salad I have ever had. The black pudding while €2 extra was, best described, as the icing on the cake for the want of putting it as best I can. The makings was the range of berries and salads on the plate was incredible. Blueberries Strawberries Mango red onion cherry tomatoes hazelnut nuts walnuts cashews radishes cucumber so many different leaves carrot - and not too much just enough to add massive flavour. Outstanding.
