A very pleasant restaurant I found by chance. Elaborate cuisine, chicken and waffles, and pork chops! Very friendly service.

Expensive prices and fair quality

THIS PLACE IS SUPERB!!!! My wife and I were staying for several days at the Strand, and I saw the online reviews, marked it as a "must-try," and then promptly forgot about it (LOL). Then, when we were walking to King John's Castle, we passed by, and I saw the name and remembered - and we stopped in for lunch. We were SO thankful that we did, as the food and service were INCREDIBLE! I ordered the "seafood pie," and let me just say: we spent a week in London and a week in Ireland, and other than the Wallace Museum "High Tea," this was THE best food of our trip. As I've mentioned previously (in other reviews), the test of quality food is when you take the first bite and immediately issue an involuntary moan of delight, followed by the compulsion to food-share with your eating companion(s), ala "You MUST try this!" Such was the case here, in which much passing of dishes back and forth transpired throughout the meal. And despite the busy-ness of the lunch hour, we never were forgotten or neglected by the staff - who instead were friendly and attentive. All in all, a FABULOUS experience, and we look forward to eating there again, during our next trip!

Had an amazing meal at The Curragower Bar and Kitchen — this place seriously hits the spot. It's right by the river with views of King John's Castle (major bonus), and the vibe is just chill and welcoming. The food? Unreal. Tried a few vegetarian options and was genuinely impressed. The Eden Burger is packed with flavour, the risotto is creamy and comforting, and the summer salad is super fresh and zingy — perfect on a warm day. And don’t even get me started on the sticky toffee pudding... rich, gooey, and absolutely lip-smacking. You need to save room for it. Parking can be a little hit or miss since it’s close to the city centre — give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot, especially during busy times. All in all, great food, lovely staff, and one of the nicest spots in Limerick to kick back with a pint or a proper meal. Highly recommend!

Local cuisine very deliciously interpreted - follow the new tradition of original cuisine.

Went for dinner with old friends. Fortunately, we had a reservation as the restaurant was completely full. The food was really good and I will definitely go back. This place have not been on my radar previously for some weird reason, but now at all to stay and I will be back.

Fantastic food , great staff especially Xin on her desert recommendation. Will definitely return for lunch or dinner.

First time here. Fabulous location, beautiful views of the Shannon river and King Johns castle. Quickly seated. Fab staff, very attentive, beautiful food. BUT Drinks very expensive, and beware they actually charge for tap water with a dash of blackcurrant, €1.50!!!. As a party of 10 our bill was rather large and to be charged for water and blackcurrant was mean and bad form. I will think twice before I go there again. Parking is also an issue. Limerick in awash with great restaurants, I will put this one low on my list. Pity.

Lovely bar staff nice could you please get Coors light on draught one of the few pubs in limerick not to stock it we know you have it in bottles not the same otherwise 5 stars Coors light has overtaken Heineken draught beer while we were in bar recently good few people asked for it.

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Limerick. It is affordable and has a good atmosphere at any time. It can be a little loud at peak service times but generally that's not too much of a problem! The glass house is gorgeous and they decorate it seasonally. There is a pub downstairs which is nice for a stand alone drink, or as a pre dinner stop.
