The place have a nice beer garden, perfect for a sunny day. Inside, the pub is quite dark though, like many Irish pubs fit for an evening drinking. The food was served all at the same time, starter and main. As a result the main was cold and looked reheated. It wasn't bad but could be better. Fish chowder was more liquid than creamy. Nice place for a few beers out in the sun but not for food.

The food was fairly meh - watery cod (deep fried!), run of the mill chips, staff were nice though and a nice atmosphere- can’t comment on the drink as I was driving but the lads said the pints were nice.

Good pub, great pint of Guinness and friendly staff. Live music is only in a small section of the pub and can’t hear it in other areas and that was ok for us though as we stopped to chat. They have more selection of beers than the selection at the bar we ordered from.’

Played pool, great music, good food, lots of drinks. What a fun time.

Really enjoyed my lunch experience there. A delicious warm Chicken Caesar Salad at a very competitive price. Would recommend.

Have not been disappointed by anything on the menu so far, and only need a few more visits to have had everything. The chicken wings are amazing and the braised short ribs my current favourite. But the big reason to go is the people - the service is fast friendly courteous and professional, and the management puts it over the top. For example, six of us are in on a Wednesday and ask the manager if there was live music planned. He apologised and said there was not. Normally the story would end there… 10 minutes later, he comes back, lets us know he has called around and that there was live music down the road at a different pub ! He was willing to send paying customers to a competitor so that we would have a better evening…. So we stayed put.

Traditional looking pub with a coal burning fireplace. Interesting artwork on all the walls. Sunday roast was delicious. Excellent service.
