The Dog House Blues Tea Room in Dublin

Been here twice now for lunch and it's fantastic. Great food and atmosphere. It's pretty slow service outside of busy hours but it's a great place to chat and relax so that's a bonus in my book.

Clearly atypical place, bordering on crazy but worth seeing. We had lunch in this restaurant after a long walk to visit Howth, quite good nachos and pizza. Small downside, no beer 😜. We recommend!

Wow, I did not know that dog’s were allowed. They were very welcoming! David was banging his head into the classes like 3 times, making emphasis to a church, making the environment very spiritual, charming and cozy. I head to the toilet and Sofi look after my stuff. They started to sing my happy birthday, as I came to Ireland for it, but he did smashed his head against the hanging glasses about the top shelf. I asked if was okay. It was. I am saying “IT”because I am talking about the glasses. He disappeared after. I had a nice conversation with Sofi, and after a few laughters, David appeared again. He was just behind the bar, I just have ADHD so I did not noticed. Thank you so much! Nacho

Such a wonderful atmosphere and place to be. Lovely and very attentive service from Dave. We will definitely be back!

Atypical and comforting establishment.

Hit The Doghouse after the cliff walk this morning. Most other places are barista coffee and bread. I had no to low expectations after reading some of the reviews on here but I have to say I had a far superior full Irish breakfast compared to what I’ve been getting at my 5 star hotel in Dublin City. People on here complaining about the dirt but it is quirky by design and nature which is what kept us here for the giggle - the cobwebs on the stuffed badger/upside down umbrella’s - it has that ruin bar vibe famous in Budapest meets antique store in the west of Ireland. Toilets were super clean compared to most bar restaurants across Ireland.

Great place for pizza, spicy chips and a great atmosphere. I also pop in regularly for a coffee when Im in howth. The staff are always welcoming and the place is very clean. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.
