Our one-night stay in room 6 was very pleasant. We did also enjoy the dinner at the restaurant — the burgers were decent, and the waterfront view was truly beautiful. The quirky artwork felt like a cherry on top.

This review is about the Driftwood's restaurant/bar:
We had a light lunch here and sat outside with great views of Sligo Bay and Knocknarea in the distance. The sandwiches were delicious and the waiter deserved a medal for coping with a large group of hikers who arrived unannounced. During low season (up until the beginning of May), they only open for lunch from Thursday to Sunday. Highly recommended.

I always have the best experience at The Driftwood, a beautiful spot overlooking Rosses Point.
It’s family-run making it a welcoming atmosphere. The interior is lovely—modern but still cosy and relaxed.
The menu has a great choice for breakfast, brunch, or dinner. The food is excellent quality and everything we had was really tasty. Amazing cocktails too !
Staff are friendly and attentive.
The hotel rooms look beautiful as well, so I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay.
Definitely a great spot to eat or stay if you’re in the area!

Best value for money on the west coast!!
I stayed here in January 2026 and I had the best experience!
I was on my way back to Belfast and decided to stop here for a night, last minute. The service I got was phenomenal. The staff were so friendly- the two ladies who were working the restaurant/ bar were helpful and kind. Check in was easy and they even offered me a room upgrade because they had availability.
The pictures don’t do this place justice- everything was clean, comfortable and welcoming. So many little details made this hotel exceptional. The location is amazing - you are surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the water (ask for a room with a sea view). The facilities were exactly as pictured and the owners have done a fantastic job at creating a relaxing and safe atmosphere. The food was also so delicious!!!
Thanks for a great stay- I’ll definitely be back!

This wonderful restaurant is perfectly situated in beautiful village of Rosses Point in County Sligo with majestic views. The service is superb with friendly staff who go above and beyond . The menu has variety of choices, keep an eye out for daily specials. The place is very clean, perfectly laid out and not to crowded.
The beach is only 2 minute drive up the main road with plenty of parking spaces. Definitely a must see and be ready for some ocean breeze.
We warmly recommend this restaurant and wish them all the best for the future.
