The Driftwood

02/05/2026: Our one-night stay in room 6 was very pleasant. We did also enjoy the dinner at the restaurant β the burgers were decent, and the waterfront view was truly beautiful. The quirky artwork felt like a cherry on top.

We had a light lunch here and sat outside with great views of Sligo Bay and Knocknarea in the distance. The sandwiches were delicious and the waiter deserved a medal for coping with a large group of hikers who arrived unannounced. During low season (up until the beginning of May), they only open for lunch from Thursday to Sunday. Highly recommended.

26/04/2025: We called in and ordered takeaway. Had munchie box (best chicken balls ever)and spicy box. Huge portions and we couldn't finish what we ordered. Lady was very polite who took order. Will definitely be back when visiting rosses point
